So excited to use this griddle! Love that it is light weight!

Griddle is of a good large size. Density and thickness of the plate leads to pretty even heating. Griddle is easy to clean since the cooking pan separates from the heating element bottom, which also means drips out of the pan are easy to clean in the bottom half. I have not used the metal spatula supplied with the griddle, just used wooden and silicone utensils with no issue of sticking cooked foods.

Good heat dispersion. Excellent for cooking pancakes, tortillas, and naan bread. Takes some time to heat up, but once it is preheated, it is very good. This thing is huge! Plenty of space to cook everything. Love that the griddle comes apart so the grill can be immersed and thoroughly washed. Would absolutely buy again.

Lid is very lightweight and no vent. Easily damage

I was very impressed with the evenness of the cooking surface as both the bacon and pancakes came out perfectly; bacon first, wiped surface, then the pancakes.

Great for a group! Easy to use and clean. Makes it easy to make 2 cans of spam, tried monjayaki and stir fried noodles.

The cook surface is large and cooks pretty evenly for what our family needs.

Really happy with this purchase! I love the super even heating across the unit. It’s very easy to clean. Easily the best e-griddle I’ve ever had. Good directions, easy to follow. It is pricey, but no regrets. It’s a great quality product that does what I want it to do. Hoping it lasts a long time.

I missed that this griddle is pitted; it is not a smooth surface. the first time I tried pancakes with no oil on the griddle it was surprisingly resistant to releasing the pancakes, for a new griddle. I tried oil the next week and the pancakes more easily lifted off the griddle, but the oil left a film after cleaning. So, cleaning is more difficult than previous griddles owned, non-pitted, e.g., blue berries from pancakes get in the recessed areas. more scrubbing. The pitted design begs questions. It is a non-stick surface, but not as non-stick as I was used to from my aging smooth-surface griddle. Certainly not as easy to clean as I am used to, and I follow the guidance to the letter prior to use and cleaning, let cool. Also, it takes much longer to get to 300, assuming it is 300, than my much older griddle. In fairness, I base my assessment on the light turning off, so there is room for argument that the old griddle might not be so accurate. Not thrilled with this purchase, but it was my mistake missing that it is pitted. I cannot recommend this griddle vs a smooth griddle for items like pancakes. It is, otherwise, solid and feels like a quality item. minus the crazy pits this would be a perfect griddle for my use. The Gourmet Sizzler Electric Griddle is amazing. My husband uses this EVERY DAY and it works like a charm. Keeps an even temperature and is easy to clean. This is our second appliance by Zojirushi and we are very happy with the quality of their products. Highly Recommend!!!

I purposely waited to leave a review until I could use it a few times…really happy with this griddle so far, namely: 1. Size - The griddle surface area is larger than most electric griddles which is great so you don’t have to crowd the food when cooking. 2. Griddle Surface/Clean-up - The non stick coating is excellent and cleans up very easily…time will tell how it holds up but initial impressions are it’s very durable and good quality cooking surface. FYI, the cooking surface is not smooth…it’s got a diamond grid pattern so foods don’t slide all over the place. 3. Heat Setting - I was skeptical it could get hot enough but I haven’t found anything yet that I wish it could be hotter. It does take some time to preheat, which is probably because the griddle itself is fairly thick and heavy, but once it preheated it works great. Overall, I’m very pleased with this griddle. I previously used a standard Blackstone griddle but didn’t like the fact that you could never truly clean it, always felt like I was tasting what was cooked the last time. When it came time to get a new, it was between this and the Blackstone E series, and glad I chose the Zojirushi.

My favorite kitchen gadget only regret is not getting this sooner.

We had another griddle for years and this was a great update. While the recommended warm up time was longer that of our previous (lower-quality) model, this holds heat better and cooks more evenly.

The griddle heats evenly across the entire surface. I also like that you can take it a part for easy cleaning.

Unit is incredibly well built, works better than any other griddle I’ve seen. The texture of the pan makes for nearly perfect non stick for pancakes and eggs.

I purchased this product based on reviews on the internet. One main positive comment was that unlike other griddles, it distributes the heat evenly. I have bought this mainly for making pancakes and followed the manufacturer’s instructions to preheat for 8 minutes at 350 degrees then adjust to 300. Unfortunately it has been a big disappointment as it keeps burning my pancakes based on manufacturer’s settings. At 350 degrees setting after 5 minutes my laser gun thermometer indicates the temperature at more than 400 degrees. So, I am going to try to start at the lower setting such as 300. I am not into habit of returning products after I’ve used them. Otherwise I would have done so.

I bought this just over 1 year ago and use it 1 or 2 times/month. I take good care of it and only use plastic spatulas and hand wash it. After only about 1 year, the nonstick surface is starting to flake off. I first noticed black specks on the pancakes and then noticed that when I wipe it with a paper towel, there are black specks on the towel. Called the company and only the electronics are under warranty for 1 year so the whole thing will go in the trash.

I love this product and have been using constantly since purchased. Pancakes, hashbrowns, sausages, smash burgers, stirfrys, sauteing veggies, pot stickers, roti (indian flat bread), etc. Heats evenly and is a breeze to clean. I already had some smaller stainless cloches that I use to cover smaller quantities of food. Can't wait to try pita and english muffins....
