  • A: I just thought I would weigh in. In regards to the warning, I believe it's referring to when the non stick plates get over heated or damaged, but really you should research potential harm.

    Hard to clean

    this waffle maker is very hard to clean. if the batter gets into the edges or overflows, the spaces are are to reach for cleaning. used it may be 10 times at max and it looks very messy.

    A good space saver.

    I used the waffle maker for the first time today. It worked very well, however I usually like my waffles more crisp. Will leave it in the maker longer next time to see if they crisp up more.

    I live this waffle maker! Not only is it compact and easy to store because it flips up but it also comes in such nice colors. It of course has easy directions to follow, is user friendly and makes waffle making easy.

    Love my Bella fold and store waffle maker!!

    I bought this and had to immediately try it out. It's so easy to use and the waffles came out perfect the first time. And the way it it folds up for storage really saves space in my cupboard.

    I have had three waffle irons in the past 5 years. One I left behind when I moved and couldn’t bring it with me, the second one I dropped during a move and broke, and this one. This has been my best and favorite so far. The waffles are huge, cook evenly, and quickly. I would highly recommend this product. Quality and price are in line.

    Fantastic little Waffle Iron!!

    Wonderful little Waffle Iron! I bought this to replace a mini waffle maker that I used a very long time, but wanted something that made a larger waffle but didn’t take up a ton more space! This has filled the need perfectly. I used it for the first time today and the waffles came out perfectly and quickly! It took me a minute to learn to press and rotate the button to release the plates to make the maker lay flat, once I did that it was smooth sailing. Cleanup was a breeze! I would only suggest that the plug be made with a clip to hook it to the cord when using the cord storage loop on the side, Velcro is a little awkward and the cord won’t stay wrapped due to no way of connecting the plug to keep it secure. Other than that, it’s perfect! I would highly recommmend this and the slim toaster!!

    Plates Are Not Removable

    I purchased this item specifically because a Product Expert answered "Yes" that the plates are removable for cleaning; they are not. I also downgraded it because the handle gets extremely hot making flipping a waffle difficult. It's cute, but not necessary, that you can stand it on end for storeage, but the one I purchased would not stay in the "stand" position. Despite these issues, the waffles are decent.

    loved it but disappointed

    I just bought this yesterday and was so excited. I made three waffles and they cooked perfectly. I cooked one more and the machine stopped heating even when the machine was plugged in. All the mix wouldn’t cook so I had to manually clean it and wasted so many cloths to clean it. Very sad it stopped heating just after receiving it.
