A: It does not heat water. We recommend filling the CarpetXpert tank with hot water, but do not use water above 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

A: It comes with both of the cleaning solutions you need out of the box: a 12 oz bottle of Shark StainStriker OXY Multiplier and a 6 oz bottle of Shark CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro Formula. I bought this to clean my stairs. It worked really well. The unit is easy to clean, and is perfect size and weight even with water in it to carry up and down the stairs. I love how my stairs look now that they are clean. Kept me from replacing my carpet.

I ordered this item not realizing I had to wait 2 hours to grab it . Since I live a hour away I came into the store hoping to walk away with the item. Upon speaking to a manager they said they would not be able to give me the item due to the person doing pick up orders has 5 more on her list and would need 40 minutes to close out. I expressed I did not live in the area and if I could cancel the item and purchase it in store. They told me I still would not be able to purchase it. Worst customer service I ever had and literally did nothing to help me at all. Second I don’t even get my refund of $135 until 24 hours later. Never coming to this target again. They need better managemnt skills

There’s a lot to like about this cleaner. Very neat and compact, yet spray and suction are powerful. There’s a brush head designed to collect pet hair, but there’s a screen in the dirt water tank that does a good job of that. Easy to fill and clean. This is a well designed product.

OMG! I purchased this a couple months ago, this unit has been the absolute best for dog issues! Cleanup is a breeze and this thing Sucks! Nothing is left behind even old stains vanish with a light scrub and vacuum I love my shark!!

I really like this machine! I have an elderly, large dog. She sheds like crazy and is having a lot of indoor accidents due to her age. I cannot believe how much this little thing has helped me manage. I use it to clean the carpet and the dogs’ large beds. It really does a great job cleaning. The extraction of all of the hair is an added bonus. Thank you Shark for helping me find a very affordable option for cleaning up. Both of my dogs thank you too!

Really light weight and nicely designed. I wasn't sure about the small water compartments, but I found a little goes a long way. This broke up a really bad area from my sick puppy who recently passed. 😪 I was afraid I would not be able to get the stain out. This powerful little machine knocked it out easily. I did go ahead and used my large shampooer to give it a good final rinse. Love Shark products. Thank you!

I should’ve taken pictures of before and after but ai forgot. I bought this product last week and I absolutely love it. I used it on my sofa, living room chair and 3 bar stools. And I cannot believe the amount of power this thing exudes to clean the furniture. My barstools were hand me downs and the cushions were BLACK from years of it now being cleaned and now they look brand new. I hadn’t cleaned the upholstery of my sofa in a long time and now it looks like the day I bought it. The colutions that came as samples made everything smells clean and refreshing. This product is definitely a keep and a must, especially if you have pets.

The attachments are very durable and I love the versatility of this product because I can use this for my toddlers accident and my dogs if they have and accident. I lightweight, easy to set up and it cleans REALLY WELL. I have steam cleaned my couches, my kids mattress after he had a little accident, and even used it to clean the dirt on the foot rails of the bunk beds in the kids room. It brought everything back to life!!! My oldest son saw my using it and now he wants to use it every chance he gets.

Does a fine job on stairs, in tight spots and under the coffee table. I’ve not used it just for hair pick but will reg that on the cat perch. I do a water rinse to remove all the solution and that takes away the sort of crunchy feel of the solution that obviously remains in the carpet.
Great cleaner, a must-have with pets!

We have used it most recently on a couch that got messy when she got sick. My daughter is 13 and was able to use it without any experience and get the couch clean before the mess set in and stained.

I bought this about a month ago and I've finally had the perfect opportunity to use it. The hair eliminator is absolutely the best ever! No hair in the tank to clean up! The carpet cleaner worked exceedingly well on set-in stains
