One Worked, One Was a Dud
I had high hopes for the Tiki Bitefighter Stringlight, so much so that I purchased two units right off the bat for my outdoor space. Unfortunately, the setup process was frustrating. After taking the time to install both units, I screwed them in only to find that while one unit turned on, the second one was completely dead on arrival. I will be returning the defective unit for a replacement or refund, but this experience has me nervous about the overall build quality. Even with the one unit working, I'm skeptical about whether these units have the durability to last through the summer. For the price, you expect both units to work right out of the box.

Easy and nice

Creates a bug free barrier for cook outs and outdoor events. The instructions are clear and yhis is easy to set up and store.

Mosquito repellent string lights

Works great

When it’s too windy out I don’t like lighting my torches but I do don’t like being carried off by bugs so this is a game changer for me. It works really well and is very easy to install. We have a pretty good sized porch and we love having this added protection. I think it works just as well as our tiki torches.

Easy to use mosquito control.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the BiteFighter Plug and Repel on our string lights outside by the pool. The mosquitoes love being around the water. We also have a pond that attracts them as well. I like that it is so easy to use. All you need to do is replace a bulb in your existing string lights with the device and add the repellent pod. The pods are scent free and you can turn it on and off with a provided remote control and batteries. Covers a pretty wide zone area and comes with a 12 hour pod, but longer lasting pods are available for use. Works great with the lights we already have installed so no one even really knows that they are getting mosquito protection. We noticed a huge difference when in use. Highly recommend.

This works so great, it was easy to install just about to any outside socket, the remote is nice, because most of the time the light is up high, so the remote makes it easy to use. The scent of the Repellent oil is nice and works to keep all kind of mosquitoes and bugs away.

Summertime freedom!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tiki Bite Fighter plug & repel is my gateway to a summertime filled with no mosquito bites! Easy to install and easy to use! I love how the Tiki Bite Fighters can be installed on the string lights I have on my back patio. Less to plug into the outlets or have sitting on the patio tables. I also love that the scent is so light/faint that you really don't notice it. So much better than spraying mosquito repellant all over your body! Each plug lasts about 48 hours which is perfect for daily use. The remote control makes it easy to start and stop the repellent device. Overall, I am looking forward to a mosquito free summer!

Mosquitos be gone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this BiteFighter string light plug in recently in hopes it would reduce the mosquitos (and we have many) here in my central Texas backyard. I got this in the winter, so I’m hoping to test it more as summer approaches. Pros: super easy to install, blends perfectly I to my string lights, seems (so far) to keep bugs away. Cons: it only came with a teeny amount of bug replant, so if you want to use it for more than a couple days you will certainly need a refill shortly after purchase.

Defiantly worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we live near the river and the mosquitos are horrible. we have tried many different products to repel bugs. the tiki bite fighter actually worked. and it worked longer than 1 week. the bugs were literaly gone. we might've had one or two here and there. But nothing like we had before using the tiki plug & repel. We can actually sit on the porch and enjoyed the evening without being attacked by a million bugs.

Great Pests Deterrent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a new way to keep your outdoor area free of biting pests. We live in the south and have lots of them. It’s always hot and humid, and that attracts those types of pests. This works perfectly to repel and get rid of them, especially mosquitoes. I like that we can use it on our porch and that it covers a lot of area, 110 square feet. The actual unit comes with a starter repellent and fits into most string light outlets. What makes it even better is that it comes with a remote control, so you don’t actually have to bother with the unit itself. I also like the fact that it looks nice and blends well with the string lights and decor we already have. Installing it was super easy, and we are really enjoying seeing less mosquitoes around our outdoor space. If you’re looking for something to keep those biting pests at bay, this is an excellent alternative to the tiki torches we usually use to do that.

Living in Texas the mosquitos are the size of small birds and are here pretty much year round ! The radius on this is 110 square feet so it keeps all of us safe sitting outside when we BBQ ! I love that I don’t have to burn a candle or remember to spray myself down—just plug it in and let it do its thing. I’ve noticed a big difference in how many mosquitos are around when we’re hanging out on the porch in the evenings. The scent is light and not overpowering. It’s super easy to swap out the refill pods, and I like that I can just leave it plugged in while we’re outside. Overall, it’s a convenient and effective option for mosquito control.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am getting quite a bit of use from the tiki bite fighter. It has worked well to keep the annoying pests away. I believe it uses citronella to deter flies and mosquitos. As the cold weather is quickly approaching, I will put it away and hope to use it again next summer.

It comes with a remote control to turn on and off which is convenient if this ends up being hung somewhere higher up. I typically have string lights up in the backyard all year round so this is perfect as an extra bug repellent.

The range at 110 sq ft will manage the mosquitos around the patio area out front but we can also move to the backyard when we’re grilling. Easy to screw into your existing string light set and twelve hours of mosquito free summer fun.

Super handy
