National Geographic Super Slime & Putty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun little project for me and my son. The bouncy putty was definitely very bouncy, but it dried out pretty quickly. It became unusable within an hour or so. The slime was super fun to play with and once we got it to the right consistency it was great. It kept very well in the storage containers provided. That’s probably the best part was how great the storage containers were at keeping it moist and from drying out. my only con would be that it took a lot of work to mix the slime to get it to the right consistency. I actually had to end up using a fork in order to get it to where it needed to be and the wooden spoon provided was not enough. But all in all, it’s a great fun science oriented activity I got to do with my boys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kit came with everything needed, except water and a bowl. The kit also came with a pamphlet that had extra information on slime and putty. The instructions were straightforward, with the longest part being constant mixing for 3-7 minutes. Both of ours took closer to seven minutes to reach a gooey consistency that was easy to unstick from our hands. The bouncing putty was a big hit, with the pamphlet saying that, if hit hard enough, it could shatter. Our kids took that as a challenge and beat it up a bit with no success. The kids didn't like the mixing as much because the stirring had to be constant to avoid clumps, but the finished slime absorbed all the clumps and became one. The slimes are very gooey, but also breakable in parts and sticks to itself very easily, so clean up was quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I did this with my nephew. The putty is pre-mixed and you mix the slime powder and water together as the experiment. We thought we messed it up because after stirring longer than the 3-7 minutes it was still very watery. (My nephew got tired after only a couple minutes of stirring so be prepared to take over.) We let it sit for several minutes and when we went back it had turned to slime. All in all a fun experiment and I would recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is pretty neat, comes with everything you need to make the slime. It's easy to clean up, unless its on clothes and or carpet. It had a smell to it once mixed together, but the smell goes away after a while. Overall after it's made its not to sticky.. I will also say it take way longer than 3-7 mins to mix, ended up having to put in containers and shake it up to mix it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slim making kit was a lot of fun for my curious 7 year old. Things she loved: She was able to do everything herself with minimal help. Things she didn’t love: results were lumpy and took longer than expected (says 7 minutes but definitely took longer). It was very sticky at first but did ultimately become more slim like. The green glowed well but the pink not so much. For moms, clean up was easy so I was happy about that.

The only ingredient you need to have is water, simple mixing instructions and it’s not super sticky so you don’t have to worry about getting mine everywhere and comes in since being getting storage containers to make two types of slime and a putty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so fun to do with the kids. It's very safety, the texture is good. The storage containers are sealed tight, so it doesn't get dried out. Very easy to cleanup

The slime instructions tell you to add too much water. The first one stayed liquid, so for the second one I only used half the required water and it mixed up well.
