GreenPan Frost Ice Cream and Frozen Drink Maker Berry

I received the Frost Pro from GreenPan as a gifted product, and it has honestly been so fun to use at home. The new gelato function is my favorite feature because the texture comes out super creamy and rich, just like a real gelato shop. I also love that there’s no pre-freezing required. You can just add your ingredients, press a button, and have frozen treats ready in as little as 15 minutes. We’ve already made gelato, soft serve, and frozen drinks, and everything has turned out so good. It’s easy to use, quick, and perfect for making desserts at home without all the planning ahead. Definitely one of those appliances we’ve been using nonstop lately!

The Frost Classic arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble and use. So far, I’ve made pineapple sorbet and vanilla ice cream, and both turned out great! I’m not usually one to closely follow the instruction book, but I quickly learned that you should definitely run water through the machine after emptying it. The first time I disassembled it, I made quite a mess! Overall, I highly recommend this machine for fun summer treats. I can’t wait for the grandkids to come visit so we can really put it to good use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so it never got cold enough to get anything frozen. No ice cream no frozen margs. I’m actually kind of sad because I was really looking forward to it. I don’t know if it got messed up in transit or what.

Was so excited to have this at our house as a Christmas gift we used it and it was super easy. We used it a second time everything worked out great. But then the third time he made ice cream. The ice cream was having a really hard time coming out. And then this fourth time the machine would not work. The display blinked after a single group of beeps and it stopped churning. There was nothing in the book about this problem and when I looked online, I was sent over to a Facebook group and it turns out a ton of people were complaining about the plastic cup, which is the whole machine basically… Cracking and all three places. And sure enough mine was cracked in all three places. It was leaking out of the bottom. It was an absolute disaster. I’ve also read that this product has been discontinued in certain countries because of this problem and because let’s face it… They’re using cheap plastic, which if you are like me and want to avoid having any kind of a micro plastics put inside your body this unfortunately is not the way to go. I really wanted to like this product. I took good care of it. I didn’t even put these items in the dishwasher to make sure that they were well taken care of. I washed everything by hand. There was no reason for these to crack at all. I am working on using our warranty and getting this returned and refunded. Such a shame, but they’re just not ready yet.

I got my machine in August of 2025. Since then I have had to replace the plastic mixing bowl 3 times! I'm currently on my 3rd time, and now am asking for a full refund. I follow manufacturers instructions for use and cleaning and actually love the ice cream it produces. However...I can't keep replacing bowl. I recommend others to not buy this product until they improve the design and materials used on this mixing bowl.

Wide variety of recipes for the Frost 15-in-1, easy to follow directions, simple recipes that taste great

We are really enjoying the Frost 15-in-1 and think the 'cool' feature is that you are able to make such a variety of items from soft serve ice cream to slushies to mixed drinks. Since it is fairly portable, we are planning to take it to our Friday night church singles potluck and have ice cream one week and slushies the next.

In my quest for health and well-being, I learned to make yogurt. With the Frost 15 in 1 my homemade yogurt transforms into a delicious dessert using the recipe book that came with the machine. Looking forward to trying more of the recipes when company comes over!

Ice cream is too soft. Softer than normal soft serve. Very dissapointed for the price you pay for this. Ninja creami is much better. I gave two starts because it froze well after it was made and tasted very good but to make for a soft serve cone its a dud.

Quick and easy recipes. Takes a bit longer to clean the inside parts.

I have bought 2 in the last couple months and both have broken on me, the plastic just breaks. I clean it carefully and do not put in the dishwasher. Very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really beautiful machine. I would even leave it out on the counter at all times. Easy to use and surprisingly easy to clean. Very clear instructions for assembly, disassembly and cleaning. Many recipes included and tips on how to modify them to create other flavors. We started with milkshakes and while our first try was a little thick for our preference it's easy to adjust consistency to meet your needs. This thing does everything from slushies to ice cream, milkshakes to sorbet and even spiked slushies! Time varies for your creations to finish based on what is in it to the quantity you are making but our milkshakes only took a little over 30 minutes. Easy peasy and very happy to have this in our home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who doesn't eat dairy, I'm always looking for easy ways to have a non dairy treat without paying the expensive price at the grocery store. Getting to make it at home and customize the flavors to my taste makes it even better. The Greenpan Frost machine is such a great solution for this. It's easy to use and very versatile. I made some coconut soft serve, but I can't wait to try this out for smoothies and frozen cocktails. This is sure to be a hit for parties and will make for such a fun tool for entertaining. So far there's nothing that would make me hesitant to recommend this. Give it a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this machine for over a month now and I would say it takes some time to adjust to the right recipes and consistency. The ice cream recipe in the book has too much salt and it needs to be adjusted. We have been loving the soft serve option and so far it's our favorite setting after the slushie. Slushies are pretty much the easiest of all. You can use any soda or juice to make a slushie. Comes our perfect every time. Cleaning the machine is probably the hardest task. It takes some time to get rid of the grease. You need to run a few cycles to get it cleaned. It's important that you dry everyone well before putting it together. The machine works perfectly everytime. It take 15 to 30 minutes to get the recipe done but it's worth the wait.
