They CHANGED the product. I miss the original formula. This is thinner and doesn't show on your lid at all. I used to wear it alone for a quick "no makeup" look. Won't buy again.

If it ain't broke why fix it?! I am NOT a fan of this new formula. It has a greasy consistency to it. I don't use concealer but I did use a little bit of the primer under my eyes. It helped with keeping raccoon eyes away and even though it was sheer it has a slight coverage. My shadow blended beautifully. This new formula almost causes raccoon eyes and my shadow cakes up with it. I love Elf Cosmetics! It's amazing quality and coverage for an affordable price. I don't know what Elf was thinking with this change though, it's a fail for me!

The other formula was much better. The old was excellent for brightness, the way it dried down, the staying power. This new stuff is a weird texture and leaves a heck of a crease on the eyelid so I have to blot that or it'll never go away because it just doesn't dry.

I have been using this product for years and since they have changed the formula my eyeshadow now creases regardless of what I do. After a few hours my eyelids become sticky and my eyeliner makes smudges on my lids. I absolutely HATE the new formula! So sad it was changed.

When I first used this product my eyeshadow still creased regardless of how much I put on. I changed up my method and starting setting the primer with powder before applying my eyeshadow, works amazing now. Doesn’t crease, (and if it does it is very minimal and after several hours of wear) there is a good amount of product in the tube, and doesn’t bother my eyes or skin. I tend to apply a small dot to my eyelid and then blend it out with my finger rather than using the applicator to paint it over my lids, and it lasts a long time that way. Though I have to say, I am starting to prefer using the liquid rootless putty primer as an eyelid primer instead, I apply it the exact same way and it works just as well and is also has a greater value for the money. But whatever works for you! 🫶
