I Can't Recommend
October 21, 2025: I purchased this Sunbeam iron on March 3, 2025 and used it, on average, 3 times a week. Until yesterday. I plugged it in and it lit up. But it never got hot. It's a goner. I opted for this mid-priced Sunbeam after first purchasing their 1200 watt model which, once unboxed, seemed super-wimpy. So I upgraded to this thinking, mid-range should be okay since I don't expect it to last more than 5 years (isn't it sad that manufacturer’s no longer take pride in their goods). I really thought this would last longer, but 7 months? What a disappointment. I've used higher priced irons in the past and IMHO they're not worth the added expense. But an iron that doesn’t last a year? I don’t care how much you pay for an appliance, they should last longer than that. Based on my experience, I’d pass on this one.

Problems with retractable cord.
Was excited about this iron. Loved the many temp settings and digital use. As soon as I took it out of the box, I found it VERY heavy. Then the cord. It kept jamming while trying to get it out, and when trying to retract it back. After many attemps, I said forget it, this is a major problem that would likely get worse over time. It did heat up quickly, but took forever to cool down. Also filling it was somewhat akward. I returned it less than 24 hours later.

Durable, 3-way cutoff iron!

Sturdy with a great digital display!

Keep it out of your way and safely back into its place after you're done using the iron. It has cooling to keep from burning. I mean it's really an excellent product. A lot of modes for different types of fabric
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best steam irons I have ever used. It has so many modes for the different types of fabric which 95% irons I have used didn’t. Very sturdy and durable. It has a contractible cable which gets rid of the mess and you don’t have to worry about out the folding the cable ot anything,just press the button and the cable is gone. Really nice product, i recommend it.
