Not Your Mother's aura boost Thickening Shampoo -13oz: For All Hair Types, Basic Cleansing, Liquid Form

This bottle has a "Color Safe" claim on the back, it is absolutely NOT color safe. I bought this shampoo and loved it initially. After I got my hair dyed red I noticed every single wash was generating pink bubbles. I tried a proper color safe shampoo and the pink bubbles stopped. A bit bummed, this is the first NYM product to do me wrong. If you dye or tone your hair, I highly suggest you do not use this shampoo, it will strip color. Opt for something like Redkin or Nexxus instead. If you do not have dyed or toned hair, this is wonderful and smells really nice. My hair seems to like it, doesn't get oily and weighed down, the scent says Vanilla but it seems a little off the mark but not in an offensive way.

I have fine, curly hair. And while I was using the curly hair product line from Not Your Mother's, I saw this and wanted to give it a try. Big mistake. It made my hair super flat, stringy, and frizzy. I tried my usual hairstyling routine, but it didn't come out the way it usually does. It totally killed my curls. I do not recommend.

I suffered from hair loss for the past couple months but with this shampoo, I have minimal hair loss. It’s great for its value and made my hair texture nicer. I can see the difference between this shampoo and other brands I’ve used in the past.

This is an actual review! This shampoo is actually thickening. In addition, I’m someone who usually has to wash my long, fine hair every day bc it gets oily. With this I can go two days and I could probably go three. My hair has thinned so much but it’s very long and this makes it look so much fuller. Love it.

My hair feels clean and soft after washing, and the scent is pleasant without being overpowering. That said, the thickening effect is subtle, and I didn’t notice a dramatic difference in fullness. It’s a good everyday shampoo if you want gentle volume, but it may not be enough if you’re looking for a major boost or dramatic results

Personally the product is amazing. It smells good, lathers well and don’t need a lot of product. It does a huge difference. Prior I was using Pantene. I swear by this as my hair feels light weight and my curls look full. Ordered more. 🙂
