    Plug and View!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up for the Nest is very easy. We currently have several blink cameras and this was just as easy to set up. We are able to quickly check on our dog while being out. The app is very user-friendly. The video clarity is better than our blink cameras. Sleek and stylish, you could easily tuck this away on a bookshelf. Virtually maintenance-free, except the occasional software updates.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nest camera took about 5 minutes from start to finish to set up. After installing the Google Home app, I hooked it up to Alexa. I love the clarity of this 2k camera and the intuitiveness it has in detecting and tracking motion. It has a wide view and the base is heavy enough to hold it in place without falling. It has good flexibility and is able be put into just about any position. The app was easy to use and gave me crystal clear images. It’s more than sufficient as an indoor camera as well. It’s tiny footprint combined with its high quality makes it a great camera for your home or even your office

    Love this Nest Camera

It can be installed easy and hide inconspicuous that doesn’t draw attention. The only drawback is you have to subscribe for a subscription to be able to view camera data that was taken day, weeks, or months. The camera does record each day but you can only view the recordings for that day without a subscription

    Too easy to use

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the google nest cam was so simple and easy to set up. I’ve been wanting security coverage for my driveway/front yard. I have a doorbell camera, but its view is limited. I opened the box, plugged in the camera and scanned the QR code and there wasn’t much more to it. I didn’t want to mount it to the wall and I wasn’t set on the location, so I perched it on a window sill and was impressed by the coverage. I get notifications when a human is detected and it shows clear footage all the way to the street 20’ away. This is exactly what I needed. So easy, more security.

You can see very wide angles and it shows every detail of your room very good quality camera and it was super easy to set up. It only took me like five minutes. I didn’t mount it I just put it on a table. I’m gonna use it to keep an eye on my dog while I’m at work.

    Great way to observe surroundings.

The angle is wider than a similar one my brother has and it has the convenience of viewing from my app. The installation was relatively easy after reading the instructions several times to gain understanding. I like that I can ensure my privacy is protected as I can observe my area and in addition, watch my dogs while I’m away. I would say I would like better video speed or the ability to adjust the speed.

    Need 2 app to function.

I don’t feel like I should have to have two different apps to make this work. Seems ridiculous. The alerts are super sensitive. It alert even when a person just peeks at the doorway. It got 3 stars because my family have actually really enjoyed being silly and goofy with it.

We have Ring cameras but the Nest Cam blows the Ring cameras out of the water in terms in usability, picture and video quality. Installation was super easy. The videos are so clear and it’s able to recognize people vs objects. It can even tell you what’s going on in the video with voice prompts. Definitely would recommend it to everyone.

    Target fails at every turn

    Target customer service really sucks. Earlier this year I purchased a Ruko TV and a protection plan, it has lines through the screen. I have to talk to a chat bit to try and get it replaced. Today I ordered an item to be shipped, after reading negative reviews I went in and tried to cancel it. It had not shipped, I have to talk to customer service people who I can't understand to be told I have to wait for a tracking number, call them back, wait on hold for a half hour or longer, then they maybe able to cancel the order. Target you have failed, failed, failed

It also seems pretty durable. The only thing I don't care for is the wire does tangle very easily. Other than that I think it's one of the best security cameras for indoor use that is.

I've had the app for my Nest Thermostats but trying to install the camera was a struggle only because instructions did not advise location app permissions should be on. I tried connecting for 20 mins until I looked up some troubleshooting videos including how to factory reset. once I turned location on the connection and install was seemless.

The video quality is very clear and I love that it has night vision. It has a wide view so I can easily see the entire room. I like to use the live feature so I can talk through the camera. It also detects motion very well, even if it is something very small like my cat hiding in the corner! It was easy to connect and install within a couple of minutes. The small size also helps keep it discreet, which I love! Overall, I’m very impressed!

    Peace Of Mind

    Love the Added Security

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a few things I love about this camera. First, it connects with the Google Home app so it’s in the same place as my other Google devices. Also, I love that you can set it to only turn on when it senses that nobody is home, and also only send notifications when it senses movement during a time that nobody is home. So far it seems to be pretty accurate at sending those things. I also appreciate that it comes with hardware to mount it to the wall or ceiling. I intend to just leave it on the kitchen counter because from there it can see the whole living/kitchen/dining area of our home, but it’s nice that it is versatile. The setup/installation didn’t work correctly the first time and I’m not sure why, but I deleted the device and started over and the second time it worked great and was super easy. Overall, feeling good about the added security.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this Google Nest Cam. In terms of performance, its 2K high resolution is great and crystal clear. Its night vision is fine too. The design is simple yet modern and attractive. The most annoying aspect of this camera is zero local storage ability. You must have internet and Google Account for online cloud storage. There is no place for a SD card. If only they made a dual storage capability, that would be a huge upgrade. Subscription is required for full functionality. If you frequently have connectivity issues, consistency may be a big problem.
