Deep Pore Cleanser Yet Gentle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite packaging that says “for acne-prone skin” this exfoliant can be used for any skin type. However, it is formulated for those who struggle with acne and oil-clogged pores. Listed as a moderate exfoliator, I had no issue at all using it on my sensitive skin. As a matter of fact, both the hubby and I really liked this exfoliant overall, including the texture. It is perfectly gentle and actually very similar to a high-end exfoliate I used all the time. We both really enjoyed the scent, and my husband commented on how much he liked the consistency, which is less runny than what we typically use. The salicylic acid cuts through oil and prevents pores from clogging, which is why it works so well for deep pore cleansing. As with most exfoliants, only use every 2-3 days. If you notice your skin drying from overuse, try scaling back to once a week for a deep cleaning.

Scared It Will Break Me Out More
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product smells great and I love that it’s green so you’re actually able to see the product on your skin but I cannot get over that there are dyes in this. It states on the packaging that it’s made with 100% natural exfoliants which are walnut shell powder and bamboo powder which is great but the other ingredients hurt.. I’m so scared to put this on my face for more than a couple of times because I fear it will create more acne. I think this would be better for my back/ shoulders!! It’s not too rough, it’s under the moderate exfoliant level and I agree, it’s not too harsh but not too gentle! I fear that my skin on my face is a little too sensitive for this product considering there’s fragrance and dyes in it. But if you don’t mind that, this product could work for you.. like I said, I will be using this on my back and shoulders for the future. 🎋💚🍵
