a little expensive for a one time use product
first use was amazing. I used it for three different recipes for Easter and was hooked. I told so many people how wonderful it was to finally have a food processor. I did some research and thought the bad reviews were people who were misusing the machine and a one off of bad manufacturing. something that wouldn't happen to me, and if I get two years out of it, for the price, I would be satisfied. I went to shred a bunch of cheese today and I was so excited to use my food processor for the second time. plug it in, hit the button to make sure it does what I need it to do, and nothing. I bring it to my bathroom to try a different outlet. nodda! I would suggest listening to the one star reviews unfortunately. it worked well for the one time it worked, it's just a bit expensive for a one time use product

It's already broken. Not even a week of using it and one of the latches brackets snapped. I made bread and it somehow went into a part that can't get cleaned unless I use tools to tear it apart. The lid latches are easily snapped so be careful. Absolutely disappointed.

Used fewer than six times and a piece of plastic already broke. Very cheaply made—would not recommend.

Lid breaks easily
The machine works well but the lid broke so now it won’t latch. Used maybe 4 times, bought in September 2025.

Disappointed
I know things are not made the way they used to be, but since my last Hamilton Beach food processor lasted nearly 20 years, I decided to go with a brand I trust. Overall, it's a great food processor, easy to use, does a great job, and clean up is easy. Unfortunately, the second time I used it, the plastic part on the lid that the clip attaches to snapped right off. I can still secure the lid and use the food processor, but I would have expected the parts to last a little longer than two uses before they started to break.

Budget Food Processor - Not For Cooks That Need A Powerhouse Processor While Cooking
It’s a less powerful version of a food processor. It could barely handle meat, cheese, and other foods. The food gets stuck between the blade and lid, cleaning is difficult. The way the handle is built, it gets food inside with no possible way of getting it out. This would be for light duty jobs like making bread crumbs or mixing liquids - anything more than that and it bogs down the motor so that it’s barely usable.

Barely used snapped lid
I have used this item 3x as of yesterday. When using it the 3rd time the lid snapped on the locking mechanism now it won’t lock in place without me holding it down

Look at other models
I bought hoping to use often. Life happened and after using just 2 times the lid snaps broke on my 3rd use. Looks to be the constant problem with this item.

Bought 7/24/25 and both handles are broken as of January this year. Have to hold the lid down to work at this point. Do not recommend, purchase another food processsor.

This food processor stacks together. There's no twisting and snapping. Unless the potatoes are huge you can grate a potato without cutting it in pieces. And the bowl will hold a lot.

Works great!
Bought one for my mom last year, and then bought another for myself. We both love this food processor. Works great to chop, slice and shred all kinds of vegetables. And good price on sale.

Poor quality
Works well however lid clasps have broken after less than 3 months and now can no longer use the food processor. Waste of money!

Locking mechanism easily breaks
The overall performance of this was very good. Unfortunately, a very-poorly engineered locking mechanism means that it easily breaks unless you are extremely careful when opening the lid. The handles that lock the lid in place only open to a few degrees from the vertical locked position (seems like they should be able to open all the way, or at least to the horizontal position but do not). If you attempt to open them much beyond the position where they just unlock, which is incredibly easy to do, then the plastic breaks immediately. Broke on second use and I returned to the store. If you can be very gentle with this, then based on my two uses it seems like a very capable machine and very affordable for its size and power. I made hummus with it and it came out very smooth and creamy. Perhaps mine was defective to begin with if nobody else is having this issue. Target was great processing the return.
