You don’t have to use a paper filter with the Mr. Coffee PerfectBrew Drip Coffee Maker, you can brew using the reusable permanent filter and add the coffee grounds to that, but you shouldn’t place grounds directly into the basket without any filter. Big disappointment!

Removable water canister leaks from the bottom where it attaches to the unit. Unfortunate because it makes a great cup of coffee. It is also limited in that you can't make a half a carafe, you are limited to 8, 12, 16 ounces, or full carafe of 64 ounces. We need 32 ounces and you can't do that without throwing away half a carafe of brewed coffee.

Not worth the money

This review is NOT part of a promotion. Makes a great cup of coffee but can’t be used with the brew later function because the water reservoir leaks all over the counter.
