The Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme breadmaker bakes bread in 3 different textures: firm, regular and soft. It has pre-programmed settings for dough, cake, French bread and more. Its Quick Bake function makes bread in 2 hrs. It also has a delay timer that lets you schedule the baking up to 13 hours later. Its transparent window offers see-through convenience. The "Ingredient Add-In" signal lets you know when it's time to add in the fruits, nuts, chocolate chips and other extras. Loaf pan, recipe book, instructional video, measuring spoon and measuring cup included.

Q: does this model feature the surround/induction type heating?

Q: it is all fresh stuff to add, correct? i dont want to use a box mix. Only want to use the fresh products, not having to use a box bread mix. Please let me know so i can make my decision. thanks

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The recipes in the instruction manual have been specifically written for the Home Bakery Mini. These recipes call for the use of fresh ingredients. We have not tested any box mixes and find that often times will require adjustments per the suggestions and instructions of the box mix manufacturer. Q: does it preheat the ingredients before mixing, or do i have to make sure everything is room temperature before i put it in?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Ingredients do not need to be at a room temperature. The Home Bakery Mini BB-HAC10 Bread Baker has a REST mode. This REST mode stabilizes the temperature of the ingredients to room temperature, it turns on by the combination of the room temperature and the ingredients. No DVD or booklet come with this machine
Cideo show booklet and dvd, called manuf, and was told they do not come with either one. and refused to sendme one. not come with a booklet or DVD—more failed bread failures than any other bread machine. The tops and middle are not cooked through. Will not recommend this company or machine I will not recommend this manuf. or machine since it does not come with a DVD and a written manual as shown. Called and they will not send it to me.

Perfect Size
My third and last bread machine, because I finally found a good one. First, it's so quiet compared to the others on the market, you will hardly notice it is running. I especially love the baking tin, as it's not the stamped metal tins on the cheap machines. This bread tin is anything but tin, but made from cast aluminum and feels solid and heavy. After baking, the bread removes easily leaving the paddle behind. I especially like the recipes that came with it, though, I often use whole grains rather than bread flour, and the bread still comes out great.

A perfect little bread maker!
This little guy is awesome! I was a little intimidated at first that recipes would be strict and the machine would punish me for the smallest mistake. Turns out, that wasn't the case at all! You definitely still need to read the user's manual and pay attention to your ingredients, but both included recipes and others I found online turned out great each time. Way more versatile than I originally feared. I only wish other colors were available besides white so it matches my other appliances. If you're interested in a breadmaker and you don't need large loaves, you couldn't ask for better.

Great little machine
Great little machine. I have made all kinds of bread over the last month and it has never failed. With 300 grams of flour in the recipe I am guaranteed a delicious perfect sized loaf for two.

Easy machine that works
What a great little bread maker. It will not make a huge loaf but it could not be simpler and it is basically putting measured ingredients into it, in sequence, and then just letting it do the work. I would recommend it for a couple or single person. I have only made the basic bread recipe but it has been very easy and I don’t have to worry about all the additive in the bread.

Quiet producer of great bread
This is a replacement from another brand, which had a 2# horizontal pan. With this machine, I followed the recipe exactly & must say the bread is excellent. No tweaking to the recipe is needed. It is quiet, easy to use, & the paddle did not get stuck in my bread. So glad I gave myself this little gift!

Great machine - even for inexperienced bakers!
I’m very happy with this machine. I’ve never tried baking bread before, so my very first attempts were with the mini Zo and all of them came out looking amazing and delicious, which is very encouraging for a novice baker. I found the instructions clear and that by following them my breads come out perfect. I’d recommend it to everyone who’s never tried baking bread before, it’s very easy.

Recommended for singles
I was sick of freezing half loaves and always having to screen labels for sugar and weird chemicals. This machine lets me eat fresh bread and I know what goes in it. It's quiet and it doesn't make my entire kitchen hot for hours while bread is baking. After experimenting with ingredient amounts and translating the recipes in the accompanying booklet from volume to weight, I can easily make 3/4 and half loaves. It's a miracle machine! 10/10 do recommend

The best bread machine I've ever owned! Makes traditional loaves, built to last with no issues. Easy to use with pre-programmed settings and timer function. Can even bake cakes and make jam. Worth investment fresh, homemade bread. No rusting or warping issues. Highly recommend!

Great Little Bread Maker
I already own the Zojirushi Virtuoso Plus and love it, so it only made sense to purchase the Mini for my 2nd home. Only reason for the 4 star review is because it produces a dark crust no matter what setting I use. So I now use it for the dough setting and bake in my oven.

For example, if the sugar is increased or changed to a different type of sweetener, it will affect the crust color. Disappointing zojirushi bread maker
Disappointed with new bread maker. Bread comes out too well done on bottom & sides. Hard to remove from pan, paddles stick to bread. Top crust squishes or falls off. Will not buy agan. Makes decent dough for pizza & rolls. 2 stars.

Great little machine!
I have tried many different machines over the decades. This one makes a fantastic little loaf of bread. The size is good for toasting and making sandwiches. The bread comes out soft and perfectly baked. Even the cookie dough function is fun to use. The one caveat is the size. It is just two of us here and my thought was to bake every couple days to keep fresh loaves on hand. I upgraded to the Virtuoso Plus since I later realized I am not really up for baking during the work week. They pair well together though and I love both machines! I downloaded the Maestro manual to get recipes in grams (weight instead of volume). In this way I just put the pan on my scale and add ingredients directly- so much easier.

A wonderful addition to my kitchen
I've had this wonderful machine for about a month now, and it has met or exceeded all expectations! The recipe book that comes with it has been an excellent point of departure, and I've been able to fine-tune to make variations suiting my tastes and ingredients with a few iterations each. It is marvelously easy to make fresh bread every couple of days with this. Barring any malfunctions (so far so good!), this breadmaker is among the best kitchen appliances I have ever purchased, and I look forward to using it for many years to come!
