Hard to shape initially but effective!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to ‘break in’ at first as the tip is squared off and hurts to apply to water line. But after it shaped, it’s excellent and long lasting. A nice shade of black and applies smoothly and well. This is a nice product that seems to have been upgraded!

Great smudgy liner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice smudgy black eyeliner. It applies so easily to the skin and blends out great. This isn’t a waterproof formula but perfect for someone looking for a smudgy liner. It doesn’t irritate my eyes at all and I really enjoy how easily it is to apply. Great smudgy liner but might not be for someone that worried about transfer with liner or wanting a harsh line. I also like that it clicks up and you don’t need to sharpen it. Perfect for travel. It also a good price for a liner.

Great coverage and color but doesn’t last all day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This liner applies with one pass, very true to color and does not skip. It smudges/blends excellent and I love the little smugger sponge at the opposite end. However it also wipes away very easily and doesn’t last all day. There’s no scent which is really nice. I like the thinness of the applicator it is easy to hold and work with. I didn’t like that once you clicked the liner past the little plastic tube it won’t go back down. So it you clicked it to high you cannot adjust it back down into the tube. Final thoughts yes I would buy again because it is a good price and applies very nicely but I would not wear to work when I need it to last all day.

Not waterproof or smudge proof, but good color and easy to apply
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Creamy and smooth eyeliner but not waterproof and smudge proof. It has a smudger tip to give you soft smoky look. Downside for me is I tend to rub my eyes, so it gets smudged by day end. Good thing is it applies quickly and has a nice dark color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The precise applicator and cushion end were nice with applying to my eyes. Having hooded eyes it is tough finding an eyeliner to correctly cover, line and have a cute wing end. It applied smoothly, gave me the right amount of cover I wanted upon my eyelids. I had some trouble at first but got the hang of it. The color, texture and feel gliding on was soft and not harsh on my eyes. I've always loved CoverGirl's ability to create an eyeliner that does more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my favorite. The black was not dark enough for me and I found the application to the eye was not smooth. I think it would be good for someone who did not like a dark eyeliner but still wanted to use black.

Smudges
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The applicator of this eyeliner is perfection. The ease of use and the point it creates is exactly how it’s advertised. It does stay sharp, which is super important when you’re making that line. Now let’s talk about the not great parts. While it goes on relatively easy, it’s still tugs a little bit on the eye when you are applying it additionally, as you can see in the pictures, I drew a line and then rubbed my finger over it and it easily smudges so be very cognizant of that when you were using it. Removing the eyeliner altogether is relatively easy, but like I mentioned it smudges/transfers so this isn’t going to be an eyeliner that I gravitate towards.

A great staple liner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great staple black liner to have. At first, I was skeptical of the smudger because I wasn’t sure how to use it because it was shaped with a point like lipstick. However, after using it, I used the small pointed end to seamlessly blend my liner into a cat eye with very little effort. This liner glides on very easily, doesn’t smudge, but also removes very easily with normal makeup remover. I like that the liner twists and doesn’t need to be sharpened and seems like it will last a very long time. Overall, this seems like a great black eyeliner that everyone should have in their makeup kit. I will be throwing out my pencils and replacing with this one as it has the added bonus of helping ensure consistent results with lash blending/cat eye.

Easy to draw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pencil has a creamy, glinde on formula. It is easy to apply, and the line went smoothly. It is not waterproof, which makes me concerned when the weather is too hot, it could make sweat interrupt the makeup. About cleaning, I use just use make-up removal. It takes longer time but works effectively.

Easy to put on and easy to take off with makeup remover. There was no struggle to take it off. No smudging issues under my eyes either which is always a plus with Asian eyes.

Good value for liner and sponge blender at the time to soften the look up if I want to. The tip could be sharper to avoid smudges. Though like I can rotate the pen vs having to use a pencil sharpener. Good consistent black line when drawing my liner. Lightweight and easy to carry with me for touch ups if needed.

I have had several other pencils before that just did not hold up even the high-end brands. I love the smoky eye look. It is smooth and so easy to use especially on the go since you don’t have to sharpen it. The pigment is so good and lasts all day long. I’ve been searching for a pencil for a long time and I’ve tried so many different brands and this is definitely my new favorite. The smudger is my absolute favorite.
