This has been one of my favorite hair products until my last purchase. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction. The previous order was not up to standard, and I must report that both mousse bottles dispensed a non-foaming product. Furthermore, the nozzles detached during use, resulting in product loss from both bottles. Disappointed and confused.
Purchased what I thought was my go-to mousse. Then, quickly discovered it ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT. It does not give the typical “crunch” feel, for some people might be nice… but when at the beach, my hair absorbed all the humidity and turned into a giant undefined frizz. It never did this before. Pardon my silliness in my Nevada airplane picture vs. stepping out into humidity in San Diego. And now it just looks greasy. Definitely don’t get the two day curls I used to. Sad and disappointed. This 100% is a totally different product. This is NOT curl construct. I feel deceived by GF.

I can’t get it out of the bottle
I love the product. I only could get it out of the bottle once then it went flat and then the thing you squirt your hair with came off of my hand and I couldn’t put it back on so I got more than 3/4 of a bottle that I can’t use

Reviewing the new formula with coconut water. Curls are not defined and my hair looks dry and frizzy. This is not the same as the formula that had Shea butter and should really be rebranded. It’s completely different and doesn’t come close to doing what the label claims. Besides, coconut water doesn’t provide moisture. I’ll have to find another brand. This is the last thing I’ll ever buy from this brand. In an attempt to save money with a reformulated product you now get no more money from me.

Surprisingly good for defining and even for refreshing curls. The hold is decent for a mousse so I use it as a quick styler after showering at the gym. On wash day I use it to define curl clumps and then I add gel for hold. I'm really impressed with how well it refreshes curls on non-wash days

Not happy with my delivery
My package was supposed to arrive on Sunday April 6th. My package arrived April 11th instead package was retaped back up and my mousse was damaged. This review isn't because I don't like the mousse, As I didn't even get to try it since the top is broken. Seems that dove has gotten rid of their mousse that I use for curls so I decided to try this one instead but obviously it doesn't seem that I'll be able to use it. I am not able to give a review as far as the quality goes and or if I would recommend because I need to return it to get one that is not broken first.

Defect
I really enjoy this product and I buy it a lot, but I recently bought a new one and it’s not coming out as a foam. I’ve shaken it a lot, held it upside down, left it in room temperature, and it won’t come out as a foam. I’m disappointed and I don’t know what to do.

FANTASTIC MOUSSE!
This mousse works so well on my wavy/curly fine hair. It gives fantastic volume and hold while it conditions the hair as well. It isn’t stiff or sticky and I will continue to use this as long as Garnier makes it.

Well defined soft curls
I like that the curls are well defined. I use it with a diffuser and no frizz. Just need to fluff it up with fingers so my hair doesn’t look crunchy like it normally does with other mousse products.
