Description
Kosher for Passover and all year round, Manischewitz Matzo Ball Mix creates perfect matzo balls for soups and side dishes. So easy to make, just add 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and fluffy light matzo balls are at the ready. Use Manischewitz Matzo Ball Mix for that highly desired classic matzo ball texture and taste.
Directions
You Will Need: a small bowl, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp vegetable oil; To Cook: 10 cups (2-1/2 quarts) cold water; 4 quart pot.
1. Mix in a bowl 2 eggs and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Add contents of one packet and stir with a fork until evenly mixed. Chill in refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
2. In the meantime, pour 10 cups (2-1/2 quarts) water into pot and bring to a brisk boil. Add salt if desired. Remove chilled matzo ball mixture from refrigerator. Wet hands and form batter into matzo balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
3. Drop matzo balls into boiling water. Cover tightly. Reduce heat and simmer until thoroughly cooked, about 20 minutes. Each packet makes: 9-12 matzo balls.

The best!
I make matzo ball soup once a month and my husband always says these matzo balls are better than any restaurant! They’re already well-seasoned, you don’t need to add any salt or extra seasonings to the mix. I use avocado oil to make mine and they turn out perfect! They’re very easy to make, and the key is to not pack them too tightly into the balls before boiling - that way they turn out tender all the way through! The box comes with 2 packs of mix and we usually get 4 bowls from each pack

A bit of yum from the old days
Comes out perfect every time. I leave it a little longer in pot than directions. The secret is to use lid the whole time it’s cooking to get them fluffed up more. There’s nothing more comforting than matzoball soup for comfort food. I pair this with Progressos chicken noodle soup. The closest thing to homemade if you’re rushed for time or low on ingredients.
