Covered perfectly when unable to get into the salon. Only issue is it does not dry, if you touch it the color comes off. You have to hit it with a blow dryer I realized.

First of all, I have dark brown hair with graying at the roots. Although the light brown was lighter than my hair color it worked wonderfully for covering up my grays. It sprayed easily, and did not leave my hair feeling too stiff. I didn’t notice any heavy scent once it dried. It washed out easily with my shampoo. I would recommend this product for in between salon visits, or just to cover up some of those grays.

While it didn’t cover it totally, made me feel more confident walking around with so much grow out! I probably could use a lighter color but it worked in a pinch. I didn’t notice the scent to be anything too strong or lasting. Will use again, will help me stretch out my time between root touch ups!

I trust the L’Oréal brand and use their hair coloring and I really appreciate this magic root cover up spray. Just takes minutes and your gray is concealed until your next shampoo. Highly recommended.

For some reason it reminded me of the cheesy idea that comes to mind when I think of 90’s “ just for men “ products from back in the day, which I realize now those ideas on my part stemmed from youth. Now that I’m approaching those years and I’ve recently started getting gray hairs, the struggle to retain is real. Additionally I color and highlight my hair so when growth takes place it can noticeable but I don’t have the time to keep up. This is truly a solution. There’s a nozzle on the pump that lets you detail if necessary and not have it covering areas that weren’t intended. This buys you time until you can get in to be seen with your stylist or at home at your leisure. I wish it were a bigger can . I took the star off only because of the label. The can color is fantastic but the front label looks dated. Absolutely a recommendation.

I don’t like the nozzle as it sprays out way too much product and it’s hard to disperse. On top of that you will color your scalp. I’m also not a fan of the scent. I would rather use a different type of spray nozzle or maybe even a colored hair powder. I would not recommend this product nor buy in the future.

It arrived in a box and when taken out, ready to use. All you have to do is shake well and aim then spray. Application is so easy. Dries quickly so you can style your hair as usual with your hot tools. Then washes out when you wash your hair next. So simple and easy. The color match was perfect! There wasn’t any scent to it. I could find no faults. This is definitely my favorite. I’ll keep some of this around in between coloring my hair.

It dries quickly and lasts all day until your next shampoo. I found it is much more effective on the top of your head- less so around your temples. Be careful when spraying. Use short, quick sprays to avoid splatter or dripping. Also, buy a shade lighter than your natural hair color for the best blending. There is even enough in one can for multiple uses- making it much more cost effective. I definitely recommend!

I was also looking for grey coverage when my roots grow in, but the product didn’t give great coverage. It blended the grey in, but didn’t cover fully cover. The shade was close to my color, but looked a bit chalky and dull. The nozzle made it easy to hit the spot you wanted the product to cover. Overall, I would use this product in a pinch, but there are better ones out there.

But, since I previously tried the light brown in L'oreal Magic Root Cover Up and found it to be too dark for me, I decided to get the dark blonde this time. It's a much better match for my dark blonde hair. My natural hair color is light brown, but I have highlights and lowlights. I also have a lot of white at my part line, and you can see in the photo that this covers it up and blends fairly well. It's easy to spray and stays on all day.
