I’ll be honest it worked for three days by the fourth day I started losing hair like crazy I wish I was being dramatic but I started to find small patches, I had to change to a different shampoo thinking it was my hair but no it was Pantene shampoo If you love your hair don’t use this shampoo it does more damage than any good

Hello. Thank you for your response. I tried the curl shampoo and conditioner and like that a lot better than the moisture shampoo that I was unhappy about. I am sorry I wrote such a bad review. The curl shampoo and conditioner doesn’t make my scalp itch, hydrates my hair and defines my waves.

Pantene changed the “ look” but also changed the formula. I got the new 72 hour lush shampoo moisture renewal, and it dried my hair out and also burned my scalp and it itches so bad. The old formula didn’t do that and had been using it for years. I just ran out of the old formula that says 24 hour moisture. I got the new formula today and experienced this. I don’t know what to do now. Why fix something that doesn’t need fixed. Bring back the old formula.

Everyone tells you that Pantene is a brand known for its affordable but substandard products but is that true? People look at Pantene and ask “why are there so many ingredients just to do one simple thing?” The question I want to answer is: “are all the ingredients in Pantene's products needed?” My goal here today is to explain what each ingredient is and for you to decide if there are still too many ingredients. The first hair product I researched is the Pantene Moisture Shampoo. There are 16 ingredients (not including water and fragrance) all doing something important. To make this simple, I will be grouping products depending on what they do. The first group is preservatives. They make sure that the hair product doesn’t grow mold and bacteria.There are 5 different preservatives: Trisodium citrate Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Tetrasodium EDTA Sodium benzoate Methylisothiazolinone. These 5 ingredients work together to help preserve your shampoo so it is safe to use. If there weren’t any preservatives, you could get bacterial breakouts on your scalp and could develop fungal diseases. The second group is different types of conditioners. These are products that help heal and condition hair. There aren't as many conditioning agents in shampoo as there are in conditioner but having them can still drastically impact your hair's health. In this category there are 7 different ingredients: Panthenol Citricum Salicylate Cocamidopropyl Betaine Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride Histidine, Cocamide MEA. These ingredients help counteract the damaging effects of striping your hair of all its oils. Sulfates are amazing cleaning agents because they get rid of everything, putting back moisture and oil will leave your hair not only feeling clean, but also healthy. The last category is cleaning agents. These products are there to help remove dirt and oil. Your scalp constantly creates sebum or oil and if you don’t remove it, it will start clogging your hair follicles. This can lead your hair to stop growing . It can also affect how healthy the ends of your hair are because new hair isn’t growing. There are 4 ingredients in this group, but 2 of them are there to improve the texture of your hair. These ingredients are Sodium chloride Sodium laureth sulfate Glycol distearate Lauramidopropyl betaine. It is a common misconception that sulfates are bad but if you have ever used shampoo with sulfates you have probably noticed that your hair feels a lot cleaner. You might have even noticed that it looks and feels more healthy. This is because your hair is getting cleaned better. The oil your hair produces is important, but an excess of oils will damage your hair. If you have had better results by using a product that doesn’t have any sulfates, then by all means keep on using it. Not all products work the same on everyone, but, if you don’t feel like you have been getting a good wash or your hair gets oily really quick, you might think about switching to a shampoo with sulfates. Overall, knowing what is in your hair products and what each ingredient does is super important. I've been using this shampoo for a while, actually since i had my bathroom done over and got new towels. The darker towels seem to be "bleached" , if you will. It's on the edge and in the middle, coinciding with where the towel would be on the back of my neck and then in the middle. Has anyone else had this problem. Finally, i had purchased nicer towels, only to be pretty sad when this happened.( I initially blamed my husband. He stopped using his body wash, but it just happened again) It's either this or Aveeno body wash. Help!!

Tried this since my go-to shampoo recently changed its formula. I have delicate, fine, dry hair. The shampoo 100% stripped my hair of all moisture. The conditioner does not have enough moisture in it to replace what was stripped out. Could barely work the conditioner through my hair. This is just a very cheap drug store shampoo and nothing more. Doesn't even do what it says.

This particular shampoo and conditioner makes my hair extremely soft, silky, and shiny, and it protects it from any sort of damage of daily washing and blow-drying. It's effective enough to keep the scalp highly clean, but it isn't harsh so it's definitely suitable for daily washing eveb with dry hair and scalp. My hair and scalp feel amazing!!! I have type 1C hair for reference.

I've never had a shampoo that made my hair look and feel so healthy, but my scalp is torturing me with itchiness. I don't even know if I should try it again to see if it "changes its mind."

These are great to include in my guest bathroom. They’re the perfect size for when guests sleep over and I can store them easily.

Purchased several times for travel to use as shampoo and on body. Nice scent, lathers well. I will continue to purchase. Might be able to refill/reuse the bottle once but I haven't tried this.

I bought this in a travel size and was amazed at how clean and soft my hair is! I’ve used so many shampoos and conditioners that left my hair dry and oily most of them cost an arm and a leg. I thought I would stay away from the cheap shampoos because they are the ones that usually don’t work as well on my hair. Then, I found Pantene moisture renewal and am just in awe! It smells wonderful too! I highly recommend if you’ve got damaged, dry, color treated hair! Would give it more stars if I could!

I LOVE this shampoo! I tried it after hearing from a chemistry podcast that salon shampoo isn't better than shampoo you can find at the drugstore. So glad to be saving money, and I like pantene more than anything I've used in the past. Really glad there's only silicone/dimethicone in it because plant oils really weigh my hair down. I'm going to try the healthy lengths line when I run out.

Makes hair feel great. Will be buying full size. Smell is a bit much though.
