Q: How do you use this? Do you put it all over your face or do you put it on a spot over night? I have hormonal acne and I’m unsure on how to use it.

A: Personally I use it as a spot treatment, all over my face or just in certain areas. Be consistent with using the product daily and don't expect acne to be gone in one night.
submitted byDYang - 4 years agoA: You apply it over the breakouts. If you have concerns that it might irritate your skin, I would use it every other night (or morning -- I put it on beneath my make-up) and then gradually increase use if you don't see any problems.

I wish I had a before picture so I could show you but this is literally the only thing that worked- I tried EVERYTHING. Will last a long time, only needs a tiny amount. Definitely works! I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin, this is a life saver. At first I thought it was a bit expensive for a small topical. But I was surprised how a small dot of product helped my breakout by the next morning. For me, after a couple days of application it will clear my problem spots. Life saver! I do use a lot of lotion on my face to combat dryness, just in case.

I don’t usually write reviews but I wanted to this time because this has really helped me and I hope this helps you. About 3 months ago I experienced a sudden onset of acne and nothing I used seemed to work or help. I tried various treatments, brands, face masks. I even went to the dermatologist and they recommended a laser treatment to kill the acne causing bacteria that started at $3k. Then I discovered this product line by target and decided to give it a go. I also really liked the price point. I didn’t really expect much from it either. I used the face wash twice daily, wore the pimple patches over night, did the pore strips once a week and I used the peroxide treatment directly and only on the pimples twice daily. I applied the peroxide with a Qtip to avoid getting the medication on my skin. After only a week of doing this consistently the acne actually started clearing up! without scarring either. I no longer have those huge painful pimples all over. I haven’t noticed any new ones either. I was really at a loss for so long but this combination has solved this daily aggravation for me. I couldn’t be happier! I will continue to use these and keep them on hand for any future use. My only regret is not getting this sooner

Holy Grail for Oily Skin!
It’s strong, but when used correctly, it works wonders! I leave it on for 10 minutes every other night and always follow up with moisturizer. In the morning, I apply sunscreen. Overusing it or leaving it on too long can make your skin sensitive, so I use it sparingly and my skin hasn’t felt this smooth in ages.

I have used benzoyl peroxide for over a decade and never had an issue. This caused some sort of allergic reaction/rash. Warm, red, itchy. Nothing about 2.5% benzoyl peroxide should cause that kind of reaction. Insane.
