A: The Dr. Brown's Anti-Colic Options+ Narrow Baby Bottle can be used with or without venting system. However, The internal vent system in Dr. Brown’s bottles is what makes our bottles the best bottle for helping reduce colic, spit-up, burping and gas, preserving nutrients in breast milk and formula, and providing baby a feeding experience much like breastfeeding. Simply put, baby will have the best feeding experience with Dr. Brown’s bottles when using the internal vent system. Baby’s digestive system is usually the last system to fully develop, so it’s important to use the internal vent system until you see improved feeding habits. Here are some signs of improved feeding habits: • They are able to sit up on their own • They have begun some solid food • They are not showing signs of colic, gassiness, or reflux Make sure to speak with your pediatrician before making any changes to your baby’s feeding.

Absolute Nightmare - leaks from the nipple and cap no matter how tight we close the cap. Imagine when you’re trying to feed a hungry baby and the bottle keeps leaking so you have to pull the nipple out of the baby’s mouth over and over - baby ends up crying and inhaling more air, thus creating more gas. Used all the bottles for almost 3 months, thought it would get better, it did not.

Less colic and easy for baby
my babies struggled with bottles since they have been exclusively breastfed, however Dr. Browns bottles have been the life saver! my babies have all been able to take these bottles. Plus they are great at reducing colic and fussiness with the little ones. These bottles are a must and I would highly recommend. Definitely wor to every penny! The system also makes for easy cleaning and has an added benefit of having a pacifier!

Help with gas
Great bottle set. We use there bottles for my newborn and he loves them. Comes e we it’s a big brush for the bottles and 4 small ones to wash the nipple. The bristles on the small brushes come off easily and I found a need to replace it every 3-5 days. The big brush is nice though. It Olson includes a formula dispenser, which I have yet to use. The bottles itself are great. There is total of 6 parts to each bottle,- which kinda a annoying to wash, but it does help with baby’s reflux and gas so I will not trade it for any other bottles.
