    Not worth it

    Paid the $79, never received the email. Reached out to Target guest services twice, they said they could not help. Told me to reach out to Allstate- they could not help because I did not have the email with the plan details! Total waste of $79 and now do not have the protection insurance that I paid for.

    Don't waste your money on warranty

    In November 2023, I purchased two electronic devices from Target along with two-year insurance coverage through Allstate, which partners with SquareTrade. Unfortunately, one of the devices has malfunctioned, and despite providing all the necessary information, the third-party company has been giving me the runaround as I try to file a claim. When I contacted Target for assistance, they simply redirected me to the third-party company. Target offers insurance when purchasing devices from their store, but when it’s time to file a claim, no one steps up to help or take responsibility. This issue needs to be addressed.

    DONT EVER BUY WASTE OF MONEY

    DONT EVER BUY THIS PLAN COMPLETELY WORTHLESS THEY WILL IT YOUR PROBLEM BUT WONT FIX IT CORRECTLY. JUST HAD MINE FIX BUT THEY SEND TO TECH PEOPLE WHO JUST WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS AND GO FROM THERE. JUST HAD TO REFIX MY ISSUE WITH AN PROFESSIONAL TECH HE HAS SHOW ME PICTURES OF THE ERRORS AND STEPS THEY SKIP TO JUST GET IT DONE .

    They will deny your claims!

    Our claim was denied when our Xbox Series X died after 16 months (within the 2 year window). Allstate claims there is water damage even though the Xbox has been on a shelf and away from any liquids since we got it. DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE. IT IS A SCAM AND THEY WILL DENY YOUR CLAIMS WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST. We will never buy any technology from Target after this experience.

    Protect your investment

    This was a no brainer for me. If your spending $500 on a game system then fork out the extra and have it insured for 2 years. You never know what will happen, and this way you don’t have too.

    Charged for plan without the Playstation 5

    Like many here, it charged me a plan for a PlayStation 5 WITHOUT the PlayStation 5. What is more it seems like it is difficult, if not impossible to cancel it online, I had to call Target and get them to cancel it.

    Great company. I’ve used their insurance before. It’s easy and does what it is supposed to. I bought this to protect hubby’s new PS5 because it’s a new model and COVID could have some manufacturing issues. Never know.
