Doesn’t stay on.
Every time I use it, it pops off. When I put it back on it pops off. It’s just a knock off version of the actual haakaa brand. I truly don’t recommend this one. And it doesn’t empty me nearly as quickly as the other brand.

Perfect for catching breast milk while nursing!
I have at least 5 of these, I love them! I like to have multiple so the milk can sit in the fridge and get to the same temperature before combining. It also saves on washing time. These worth well, hold a good amount of milk, and are easy to use!

Works when it attaches
great at passively catching letdown on your “inactive” breast. However, i have mixed experience with the suction staying latched onto my breasts.

Completely replaced my breast pump
I see a lot of people having personal issues with the product and I hate that for them because this thing has been an absolute life saver for me. I don't have any other brands to compare it to, I tried it and decided it worked so well that I wouldn't waste my money on a more expensive brand. I have two of them, I EBF, and I have built a healthy sized stash in my freezer. I get maybe an ounce with a regular or hand pump, but I get 4-5 ounces with this. It's passive, painless, and so convenient. I love it, I couldn't have gotten through the early weeks of breastfeeding without it.

Lansinoh Silicone Breast Pump
It's great for catching extra milk on one side while I'm nursing on the other, which means I'm not wasting a drop. It's easy to use, super gentle, and the suction is just right. Plus, it's small and portable, so I can take it anywhere without hauling around a big pump. Cleaning is a breeze too, which I really appreciate.

Great for collecting milk
This is a great pump to collect milk while breastfeeding or pumping with electric pump. I also use it to help empty the breasts a bit when feeling engorged.

Wish I had this for all of my kiddos
I cannot believe how amazing this is. I struggled with electric breast pumps but with this I can use it all day with no pain. Works the best when you are feeding on the other side just put it on and let it drip. It's also WAY easier to clean than an electric pump. The only downfall is that the cover doesn't stop it from spilling if you tip it

Full freezer
So, i EBF. I leaked a lot so i decided to give it a go, after all the hype around silicon pumps. Boy it did not disappoint me! At first i used it for every feeding, and got at least an oz. I slowly weaned from the daytime feedings and I now aonly use it at night, when i leak the most. The suction was strong and took quite a bit to get used to, but not unbearable for me. It stays on well, unless full, and the strap is a nice addition. I am able to collect about 5 oz every day from night and morning feed. I also use it when baby sleeps longer and i am engorged and so not in the mood to get up and pump. If i attach and massage breast while full, i will easily ger 2 to 3 oz just from that. Also saved me with clogged ducts at least 3x so far when baby slept longer.Definitely recommend. My freezer is full of milk, without me even trying the least bit, other than remembering to put it on. Be careful, though, and use with caution, as i feel it can create oversupply. I have been using it for 3 months, since week 2 pp. The leaking almost stopped, but i still collect almost the same amount, if not more sometimes. You definitely do not have to leak to use this product. Just make sure to apply correctly, centering nipple and areola and use breast compression to get the milk flowing. Thanks Lansinoh for this great product!

Misleading name
The product name says manual pump but this is only meant as a catch...wish I had known that before I purchased it. I wanted and actual manual pump to take in the shower without getting electrocuted while pumping but clearly that is not what this is made to do. Do better.

Hello KFox, Thank you for sharing this feedback on the Silicone Breast Pump. We're sorry to hear about your experience. To help when applying the Silicone Breast Pump, ensure that your skin is completely dry, flip back the flange, center the opening of the collector on your breast, gently squeeze middle of the collector and release to apply, flip the flange to its original position. The suction can be adjusted based on how firmly the center is squeezed prior to applying the collector. We hope this helps. Please reach out to us directly if you have any other questions or feedback by sending an email to wecare@lansinoh.com, and a member of our Consumer Affairs team will get back to you right away.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have been pumping exclusively after my daughter was born with a posterior tongue tie and a lip tie. Even after the corrective procedure, she continued to refuse the breast and has been bottle fed ever since. It's been a difficult journey of pumping around the clock and trying to bring up my ever-dwindling milk supply. As a homeschooling mom of four, I struggle to pump as often as I should because I'm always busy. In addition, as a result of manually pumping (my electric pump didn't work as well) I began to develop pain and cramping in my hand. I bought two of these pumps, hoping to be able to collect milk, hands-free, while taking care of other household matters. I was a bit skeptical because of the negative reviews but I soon saw that the pluses outweigh the minuses. A week after purchasing, my family of 6 all developed Covid, including baby. I was in total overdrive caring for everyone and being mildly sick myself. I barely had time to pump, so I employed these two pumps and was very pleasantly surprised to find that I could collect a full 3+ ounces from each breast. with minimal effort or strain on my hand. Admittedly, the suction breaks very often and requires constant readjustment and wearing the pump isn't the most comfortable BUT to be able to collect every drop of breast milk to feed my little when she needs it most, is well worth any inconvenience. I would recommend this product to any mama who is willing to put up with a few inconveniences in order to feed her baby or who may just need an additional milk-collection option in her breastfeeding journey.

Breastmilk collector
Well let me start by saying that "This is not a manual breast pump." I feel that many are unsatisfied with this product, because they are expecting it to work as a substitute for a manual pump. It is not the same, and is not marketed as such. It's a milk collector. It helps collect your let down from the breast that your baby is not nursing from. So milk that would have been waisted is saved. Now with that being said, " I am not totally satisfied with the product." The suction hurts. More then just a little. I usually have to break the latch as I would if my baby had an improper latch. I do not have sensitive nipples. I'm use to suction. I pump most of the time, because my baby has a lip and tounge tie, so I didn't expect the feeling I got when I attached this product lol. You can adjust the suction by not squeezing it as hard, but then it won't stick for very long. Their is also the problem of the baby kicking it off. My baby doesn't move much during nursing. She's only 6 weeks old. The smallest touch of her foot will release the suction. I feel like I can't complain to much, because I got mine for free from my local wic office. It does catch my let down which is never really that much, but every drip counts. I save an ounce per feeding on my slacker boob that produces less then the breast my baby prefers nursing from, so that's good for me. An oz at every feeding equals an extra 8 oz a day that I would have other wise lost. My baby is newborn. She only sucks about 3 to 4 oz usually per feeding, so that 8oz is 2 extra feedings for her. Definitely worth the money compared to the haaka since it's cheaper, and in my case mine was free. I guess it does what it's supposed to do if you don't have a haakaa or can't get one as quickly as you may need it. I put this product second behind the haakaa. Only because it's uncomfortable and the suction breaks easily. I hope this review helps someone.

Must Have!
This has been so incredibly useful! It auctions on well and I usually will collect 1 or 2 ounces of let down while I nurse on the other side. every little bit counts and after two feeds I usually have enough milk collected to make a bottle without having to pump. it is really a must have for all breastfeeding moms!
