No noticeable effect after sitting 24 hours. The only thing that flushed down the toilet using this product was the money I spent on it. I eventually got the toilet to flush by using a lot of liquid dish soap, hot tap water and a heavy duty plunger. Once it would flush out the bowl it was still slow so I risked using another bottle of this thinking it would be like the recommended monthly maintenance and get more water to flow and flush out faster. Another 24 hours later and it had done nothing to improve the slow flush. Years ago I had a stubborn clog and found an airblasting drain opener which uses C02 cartridges. That was a miraclous lifesaver that produces a lot more force than any plunger. I had to order more cartridges and they use a slow shipping method so I am waiting. In the meantime the toilet flushes but slwer so I am flushing 3 times more when it involves paper to be safe.
