LOVE the smell of this shampoo ! It leaves my hair smelling good even after rinsing it out ! I love how it cleanses my hair without making it feel dry ! The moisture is DEFINITELY there ! Ima. Fan of flaxseeds anyway and this shampoo does not disappoint ! Love the packaging also it’s cute and the shape of the bottle is different than other typical shampoos ! A little goes a long way and it lathers up VERY nicely ! A must buy !

This product had great packaging and was very easy to open. It made my hair very soft, had a very good scent, and wasn’t breaking the bank. Would buy again.

I have thick 2C hair and this product didn’t make my waves worse but didn’t make them better. The smell is really nice and it lasts in your hair, and the packaging is really pretty and easy to get out. If I find one made for my hair type and that helps with frizz and curls I will definitely try it!

I like the way the bottle looks. They have a lot of different styles you can buy in this brand. The scent was good. I didn’t notice that it helped my curly hair too much, though. I do like the price of this product.

Ugh I LOVE the smell and the fact that it has clean ingredients. I’ve used both the shampoo and conditioner multiple times and I was so confused why all of a sudden my hair was getting so tangled during the wash and MORE HAIR than usual coming out. EEEEEK! Never using it again I have wavy/curly hair and this was not for me. Tangled my hair up! And lost some hair 😢

Scent is a nice, earthy, light, expensive spa kind of smell but it fades away pretty much as your hair dries. Lathers well, rinses easily and hair felt clean. Overall good quality shampoo even though it didn’t seem to have any impact either way on my wavy/frizzy hair.

This shampoo felt like it wasn't properly cleansing my scalp. I started flaking after no more than 2 weeks of use. I've stopped using it since, but my hair still isn't back to normal. I have curly/wavy hair, so I thought this would be a good try since it said lightweight and some other curly hair shampoos leave my hair oily, but this shampoo felt the same like the others, if not worse.

I picked this up because I used the "purple version of hair mask & shampoo" & loved it & this said; "gentle" so I thought it would help my wavy / curls from my natural hair but this shampoo makes my hair sooo shiny I get comments about my hair how "it looks so unwashed"..I only used this shampoo & a mask less than a minute & on the baby ends of my hair. I wouldn't buy this again but; I am curious about the other "Maui Moisture" products, im really excited to try !

I've I've n using this for a couple of weeks and really like it for my hair type which is fine, wavy hair that gets greasy at the roots. I don't feel like it weights down my scalp too much but provides a gentle clean without drying. I follow with the conditioner and it does feel like it has been strengthening my hair and bringing out my waves more.

The shampoo works ok. Hair feels good when you rinse it out but the conditioner seems to be drying. Hair feels like straw after using. Also kinda difficult to get out of the bottle as well. Also noticed scalp gets oily which is not the norm for me.

Been using this for the past few months, and I’m never looking back! Keeps my hair soft and brings out my curls better than any other shampoo.

Describing hair product as both lightweight & moisture is kind of an oxymoron. This shampoo is not curl-friendly. My middle aged hair is so very dry & frizzy. It needs TLC & true deep moisture. This shampoo is too harsh or clarifying for curls which need extra moisture. I was excited to try this shampoo but was disappointed in the frizzy hair that resulted. Smelled ok.

Best shampoo ever for my thin wavy hair. It also smells great.

I saw my hairdresser yesterday and she advised I switch the conditioner I am using as my hair has become extremely dry and brittle. I tried the Maui Flax for Curls because I had hoped it would be better quality than the Herbal Essence Volumizing I had been using. It did not. It has definitely caused a lot of breaks and fist fulls of hair falling out every time I wash my hair. I am most likely going to have to get it all cut off to try to encourage healthy growth and not look like a frizzy pompom

The only product that doesn't weigh down my hair. I have very fine, curly hair that most products weigh down, but with this one my hair is curly and shiny.

Some soft products with minimal chemical ingredients I've used in the past were too mild, but this Maui shampoo and conditioner is just perfect for my fine wavy (2A) hair. The shampoo's not rough on the scalp but also cleanses it quite well. The conditioner leaves my curls soft and fluffy. I'm not a fan of strong scented products, so the mild scent was also a plus point.

I have a lot of wavy hair, halfway down my back. It is not color treated but it can be porous and wirey in places. I really liked the way this shampoo smelled, and the way it lathered in my hair and made my hair feel clean. I wanted to love it. But something about it just dries my hair out like I’ve never experienced before. In the shower, it doesn’t FEEL like it is dry but after conditioner, and my leave in conditioner and other hair care steps, my hair is like straw. I’ve tried it with the matching conditioner. I’ve tried it with a deeper conditioner. Nothing changes. My hair looks more like the “before” photos down below this review after using this. I’ve even noticed that my hair dries quicker, lol. The ends will be dry by the time I’m done drying off after my shower which is unheard of for me.
