While we understand how unsightly this is, our products undergo thorough testing and checks to be in the safest condition for daily use, as your and your family's safety is always at the heart of all we do. Mold usually grows where bacteria and moisture are present, and we recommend keeping power brushes away from corrosives, makeup, grease, or oil-based products and storing them in a cool, dry location. It's also possible that there could be toothpaste and residue remaining in the brush head, especially if it is a gel toothpaste. We recommend rinsing and drying the toothbrush thoroughly by removing the head from the handle and rinsing both under running water after each use, as suggested in your user manual.
