You are bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats (actions). These habitats focus on several key aspects of growth: Gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colors draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them the winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds. Super fun board game for lovers of strategy and beautiful artwork. Game is a bit complex to learn right off the bat, but an absolute blast once you understand the mechanics. Takes about 2 games to get the hang of it. There is also a Steam version of the game from the publisher which is great for playing when on the go.

One of the best games! Such a fun way to learn about the different bird species! The length of the game is just right. I recommend watching the how to play video which was very helpful vs reading the instructions. Comes with lots of little game pieces! Only complaint is that the bags that the pieces came in were ripped but those are easy to replace. Really fun game!

This is the best game! My family plays it a few times a month. Maybe more! We play with 4 people. Everyone always has something to do in this game. Other people’s birds have certain actions that you benefit from but you have to look! The other player may not tell you! It’s so fun. I honestly love how beautiful it is and how easy it is to setup and put away. Great quality box, which helps a lot with our avid use! Get it. You won’t regret it at all! Other board games that my family enjoys (for reference so you know it’s your style): settlers of catan, splendor, azul, clank.

Components not as pictured
This is a new edition or version of the game. The components are not as pictured. The new more eco friendly components feel very cheap and we were very disappointed since we typically play on my parents original version. The box looks the same and the Target website pictures are of the previous version. There is no indication that the components will be different when you purchase the game from Target.

Great family game
A lot of details to take in at first, so the 'quick start' cards were a good introduction. By the second game, we had the hang of it and only needed to consult rules for clarification a couple times. I feel this game would be enjoyed by any that have the patience for 2-3 hours of board game play. We liked that it was competitive and not adversarial - you are pursuing your goal and not interfering with others. There is a perfect balance between randomness and strategy so that you are never "one bad roll" away from winning or losing. As you progress through the game, you play toward multiple different goals so there is never the sense that one player can take an early lead and nobody else has a chance to catch up. All in all the game is incredibly well designed and each of the elements that add complexity serve a concrete function that makes the game enjoyable - i.e., it's not complex just for complexity's sake.

This was a great, well-designed game. The art is beautiful and the replayability is high. There is not too much luck involved and you can choose different ways to play every time. I only wish it could be played with more people.
