To use them, you simply fill the ceramic humidifier with water and place them in a room. The ceramic material helps absorb and slowly release moisture into the air, increasing humidity. For the best results, it's best to use room temperature water (cold or warm water) for filling them. Using very hot water isn’t necessary and could cause damage to the ceramic. These humidifiers don’t have a heating or cooling mechanism, so they don’t have a specific "cold" or "warm" setting—they just work with the water that’s added. Has a Prop 65 warning

This had a Prop 65 warning for a chemical I have never heard of. I normally just glance at the warning and then use it anyway, but I didn't want to put this in my child's bedroom because the chemical was that unusual.
