The amount of time needed to activate the color-changing experience can vary based on factors unique to each individual brusher, such as the strength of brushing or type of toothbrush used, i.e., manual vs. Power. However, it is designed to occur within two minutes of brushing. Since the color didn’t change, we recommend encouraging your child to have them brush longer, as the red colorant is gradually released from the act of mechanical brushing, thus causing the paste to turn from blue to pink. Canker sores
Our 6 year old has developed very painful canker sores halfway through his tube of this toothpaste. After researching this one of the ingredients in this tooth paste is known for this!!! “Sodium Lauryl Sulfate” the fourth ingredient listed. Beware of the risk!

Almost didn’t buy it because there were reviews stating it didn’t change color, it stained the sink and was a little spicy. But I’m glad I made the purchase. My child used it and liked it and insisted I use it too. Well I did and it did turn light pink and did not stain nor is it spicy. I will definitely purchase again.
