Pencils are Bright bold colors . I thought maybe the scent would faint or unpleasant. But I was so happy they smell real.

No real scent to them

My kids like these a lot, we’ve bought more than 1 pack. Smell transfers onto the paper well if you do solid coloring )I think some people who say it smells like nothing might be sniffing the pencil directly).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These dented pencils have the perfect amount of scent to them. The mashups have “yummy” combinations according to my 6 yr old. In typical Crayola fashion they had vibrant colors and colored nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was excited to smell the Silly Scents Smash Ups Colored Pencils. He enjoyed smelling each pencil and guessing the scents. He was slightly disappointed that he was unable to smell it while he was drawing. The pencils are very smooth and the colors are vibrant. My 5 year old son enjoyed using these colored pencils over his crayons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colored pencils were really fun and they smelled very close to their designated smells. Our 2 year old and 5 year old both loved this product. At first the tips are very sharp so they do break more easily, but can be resharpened quickly. This would be a great gift for friends to color with.

My 10 year old son liked to test my sense of smell to see if I could identify all the scents. I was pleased that the scents were not the traditional lime for green, licorice for black, etc. I did however have a difficult time identifying the scents. My son noticed that after he colored with them, some of the scents were more noticeable than just sniffing the pencil itself. The pb&j, berry smoothie, s'more, and strawberry shortcake had the most recognizable scents. The colored pencils themselves are bright and vibrant. My son was pleased with the smoothness of the pencils as he colored. If we had to choose between the scented colored pencils and regular colored pencils, I don't think I would choose the scented ones just because the scent wasn't strong enough and distinguishable in some.

The scent transfers to the paper so they enjoyed coloring a picture and then smelling the different pictures they created. Their favorite scents included smores and strawberry shortcake. The pencils are high Crayola quality and sharpen easily. Definitely a hit with the kids and the adults too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kids found these to be exciting, but we really struggled to find a difference in the scent of each. Scented markers are usually very strong but these all have a strong wood smell from the materials of the product that masks the fun scents on most. The blueberry smoothie and strawberry shortcake were favorites though that actually had a great scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set of colored pencils. The colors are very bright and vibrant. The only piece of criticism I have is that the smell is dull at best. The idea is great, yet the execution is not. You have to color a very large area of one color to even smell the scent. If you do multiple colors together, it's even harder to smell the scent. If looking for great, vibrant, colored pencils in general, then these are a great buy. However, if buying for the scent itself, I wouldn't recommend them.

They come with a blend of 2 sweet scents per pencil and really cool colors! Imagine my grandson's disappointment when we smelled nothing at all. The names suggest such delightful scents such as PB&J Sandwich, Chocolate Covered Popcorn just to name a few He continued to color with them a bit but the fun had gone out of It because he was looking forward to seeing which smell he liked the best. The colors were unique as they have a light silver color and the shades of the others are not the norm of the spectrum This would be what makes them a bit different from the other colored pencils. Hoping they work on the scent part as this is the selling point on these cool pencils!
