Broke in less than a year
I purchased this item last year and it already doesn't work. It is only my husband and myself, so we probably haven't even used it 50 times. We cannot get the opener to puncture the can let alone open it.

Do not purchase, it worked ok then just out of the blue it stopped opening cans, the mechanism doesn’t go all the way down to break open the can and it gets stuck. Too late for a return purchase just 3 months ago

Extremely fast and convenient

I’ve tried all sorts of cans of all sizes and this opens them very quick and easily! It is so convenient to use, place the magnet holder, set the blade, push a lever then you’re done! When I first plugged this one in and turned it on for the first can, I knew this was the one, this was the one that would open my cans for ever and ever as long as there is power. I have a back up manual hand crank one when the power goes out or for camping but this one is the god of all can openers

In order to open larger cans it has to be tipped sideways and manipulated slightly. I will only use it for regular cans. I thought it would be taller. It cleans just fine for now, but I can see how after several uses there could be build up where it cuts.
