  • A: I haven't had a tearing (or shredding) problem with Quilted Northern Plush. I did with Charmin's "smooth tear", so made the switch. I'm pleased with Northern's quality. I hope that helps.

Q: Are Northern tissues 100% cotton or mixed fibers? I see nothing in the specs regarding fiber content.

  • A: All toilet paper is made of forest products, not cotton. It has to dissolve in sewer pipes and cotton wouldn't work.

    Sheets will not tear off straight

    Been using this product for years and never had problems but the last 12 pack sheets will not tear off straight. Try to tear fast, slow, use both hands will not tear just rips. It is not perforated all the way across and just rips.

    Switched to this bc of skin irritation from other brand

    Switched to this from Charmin bc not only does Charmin have insane amounts of lint but there is something in it that started causing blisters and irritation to us. Like chemical burns. Our skin immediately calmed down switching to this! And now less lint all over the bathroom too!

    Way too dusty

    I have been buying this toilet paper for years. Lately it has been rolled in dust. There is nothing like a huge cloud of dust while using the restroom. It has gotten so bad I will no longer buy it
