Doesn't Work
I tried tapping up some new posters on my wall and they wouldn't even stay up. Not to mention how difficult it is to peal off paper ruining them. You would be way better off with sticky tack.

Great tape, application/dispensing could be better
Excellent product that I have used in retail and libraries for about 20 years. The backing is a pain to take off, as other comments indicate, but I still know of no better product on the market for posters or flyers that won't damage walls even if left up for a long time. I would like to see 3M offer this boxed, for use in a desktop dispenser.

I wish I could give this "0" stars!
This is the most worthless piece of junk I have ever seen. It is impossible to get the backing off to even use it. Had to trash the entire roll.

I used this to tape up light weight art paper on a window for a Halloween projector screen. Terrible. Wouldn’t hold at all. Had to end up using good old regular tape which was unsightly but did the job.

buy regular tape
this tape is horrible. tried to put up normal lightweight pictures on my wall and had them all falling off at the same time. better off buying normal tape. this product definitely does not do its job.

Great tape
I have recently purchased some of this tape and find it is fantastic for what I want. I am a card maker and use it to hold my dies on the plates when I am cutting out the shapes and also holding templates down onto my cardstock, it does not mark the paper when removed, I was so pleased to find it.
