I keep it on at night in the bathroom due to seeing some small gnats flying around occasionally. Over the course of 2 weeks, there are several dead bugs in the grid. Recharge it during the day. Lasts all night. Better than nothing, but not as powerful as a larger bug light. Works OK in a small space. It is only about 7 inches tall.

Adore STEM products, use them all. Was so excited to see a battery operated version. Unfortunately, did not work at all. Used it outside on patio during evening where there were hundreds of knats. Used it inside where we have used plug in Stem with success. Did not work. Not even for one small knat. Plus, no timer or alert that it needs recharge. Good idea but only disappointment.

Works really well! The first night we used this outside it caught 15+ bugs, including some Japanese beetles. It also works well indoors for flies that are hard to swat. The only thing that could be improved is the hook shape, although I appreciate that it collapses.

Anyone on these reviews claiming this product works was paid. That stem zapper does not zap any bugs. Don’t waste your time and money! I figured. I give it a try since it’s summer and you have bugs everywhere but I purchase two and no one has zapped anything.

Was optimistic given previous reviews but after personally using this item, it doesn't seem that the light on the zapper is sufficient, as I leave it running day and night with one fly, at most, found the following day in the zapper.
