I leave it on, indoor and at night. It has zapped drain flies and fruit flies, but I see no evidence of mosquitoes being killed. I still see them flying freely. It works okay, not great. I'll have to buy another kind of zapper.

It takes about four hours to fully charge, and it stays on for around eight hours, which is great for evening use. It’s completely portable, and I like that you can use it both indoors and outdoors. Plus, since it doesn’t rely on chemical insecticides, it feels safer to use around kids and pets. That said, it doesn’t attract all bugs. It catches some, but if you’re dealing with a heavy mosquito problem, it might not be enough on its own. If you’re looking for a lightweight, eco-friendly bug zapper for smaller areas, this is a decent pick. Just keep in mind its limitations with range and bug variety.

It was so tiny it could barely kill a fly. I was not happy with it. It wasn’t even worth the gas to take it back to the store. I should have read about the dimensions. That was my fault.

I heard it zap once and it wasn’t too loud, but it definitely is a bug zapper. It says it’s for indoor/ outdoor use. I haven’t been using it for very long, but it does work. It’s just very compact. We are going to use it in our motorhome when we travel this summer so it’s a perfect size for that plus it’s rechargeable.

The lamp emits a soft purple light, attracting mosquitoes and flies inside, then killing them with an electric grid. The design is compact, easy to carry and place in many different locations. I especially like that this product is safe for both humans and pets, does not use toxic chemicals, and is environmentally friendly. It is easy to clean and reuse many times, very economical compared to traditional methods. However, I found it more suitable for use at night because the light emitted is more effective. I am very satisfied and will definitely continue to use it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I hoped that this would work during the daytime because we get so many flies, however I do think it's pretty cool that it's portable because we can totally take it with us if we ever go anywhere that might have mosquitoes at night. Mosquito season is not yet started so I can't give a fair evaluation on that, however I had it outside and it did not trap a whole lot. I really like that it has the hook to hang and that it charges. I like that you do not have to have it plugged in so then maybe we can take it when we go to backyard gatherings. Only gave it low stars because there was not tons trapped in there. Maybe three little bugs after being out all night

Checked on it after that and there were like many bugs in there. It's not noise and safety. My husband told it was durability and portability. It's good.
