Very happy with this, and so affordable compared to high end lines! I’ve been helping my boyfriend find a realistic routine for his 2C/3A fine hair. For transparency we also used a leave in conditioner, curl cream, and diffused, and he has a silk pillow case. After doing all the steps, his curls were so much better defined and bouncy, especially at the top of his head where they tend to fall flat from the weight of his hair. The curls at the top still held really well after a night of sleeping on it. Frizz was reduced so much! Without the mousse I think the other products would have weighed his hair down so this was an essential step. The curls had a really nice shine to them. He went from skeptical to really happy with the results and this was a low-effort addition to his hair care. I’m even considering getting mousse from their other lines for my fine, straight hair that either frizzes, loses all volume, or both.

I used the Pantene Pro-V Curly Mousse Original Formula and it was the best, my hair felt luxurious each use and the results were great and always dependable. Tried the new formula, it looks and feels different and doesn’t work. I’m sure it works for some, but can y’all please bring back the original creamy mousse for those of us it works for.

Why are you not listening to us? Changing back to the old formula will not make you lose face- on the contrary, your sales will quadruple because we’ll all be stockpiling in case you pulled another ill conceived formula change nobody asked for. You said you did it as a result of extensive customer research, but 300+ people have bothered coming on here to beg you to bring back your star product. And I guarantee there are thousands more who simply haven’t bothered reaching out. I wonder how many customers you lost to Umberto Giannini… I understand that there are new fads re ingredients etc etc but curly girls struggle DAILY with hair styling and taking this product away from us is akin to that Friends episode where some crook tries to pass off Mocolate as Chocolate. It’s insanity. You don’t know how many lives you have ruined here. Ok first world problems big time- BUT STILL. I used to look AWESOME every single day. Now my hair is like meh. I will come on here periodically to write this exact review in hopes that you will finally do the right thing.

This mousse is awesome. I went back and accidentally got a different mousse, and you can tell the difference. Curls defined if you let air dry and also so soft and smooth. And of course, that perfect 90s clean shampoo smell.

New favorite mousse! It's gives soft, defined curls. It does not have a residue and reactive nicely with water and a little extra product.

I have fine 3a damaged blonde hair. This is the ONLY mouse that I like for air dry or defusing my hair. A slight crunch out but it leaves my hair light, soft and defined. Works great to just reactive with water and a scrunch. I love it.

I bought this a few years ago and it was amazing. Now I bought this product again, and it was remade/reformulated. Now with the new product, the hair doesn’t even get crunchy. My hair got frizzy so so quickly because it was loose, not crunchy, soft, and DID NOT hold anything. This is a lie, it does not define or hold against humidity. The only truth to this product, is that it is soft and weak.

This product is awful for curly hair. I let my hair air dry because I don't like to use a lot of heat and it is nothing but frizz. Very disappointed, don't waste your money. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Don't use to much unless you like your hairy a bit crunchy. Otherwise your hair will look very decent looking, shiny and curls soft not frizzy. I have curly to wavy hair. I'll also mention let hair completely air dry otherwise it will look flat. I hope this helps.

I have been using this mousse for several months. I love how soft my curls are without being cruchy. This product has a medium hold. Love it!

Still boycotting 2 1/2 years after you changed your formula to this soft curls crap. Was a user of your Curl defining mousse and your Classic Shampoo/conditioner for 30 plus years.... still waiting for you to bring the old formula back... smh 😔 (I changed to Paul Mitchell btw, works great!)

This stuff is horrible. After decades of using Pantene mousse the company decided to change the formula and pull the products that work. I have very hard to manage hair and Pantene has ruined my ability to maintain it like I use to with the mousse they pulled without warning. So rude and inconsiderate, and they replace it with this crap that doesn't hold hair at all.

This is a product I use to air dry my hair when I want a softer hold. I just wring my hair out a bit and work some of this through my hair. Then I air dry my hair and voila it’s like magic.
