    Great can opener

    After going through 4 can openers in 5 years, we landed on this one and love it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. All our other can openers worked briefly and then gradually malfunctioned. This one has solid performance. It holds the can and slices through the lid with precision even when cans are slightly bent. We applaud Cuisinart for creating a product that reminds us of dependable small kitchen appliances of the past. Kudos!

    Great Can Opener

    I bought this because I broke my wrist and couldn't use my manual opener. I'm extremely happy that I chose this Cuisinart model because it can be operated with one hand. It's easy to position the can under the blade. Once you lower the handle the opener starts automatically and you do not need to hold the can at all. When it's finished cutting around the top it shuts itself off and holds on to the can until you lift the handle. The handle and blade assembly is easily removed in order to wash the blade.

    User friendly

    This electric can opener is easy to setup and use. No more pain twisting a manual can opener with my arthritic hand and carpal tunnel wrist/forearm. The magnet lifts the cut lid for you too.

    And I had been resisting going electric

    I used to have an electric can opener but it was noisy, bulky, and hard to keep clean. I went to manual openers that I could throw in the dishwasher but never lasted and were always a struggle to use. This new Cuisinart has the best of both worlds. Compact, reasonable noise level, ALWAYS opens on the first pass, AND the blade snaps in and out for easy cleaning. Very happy with purchase.

    Smooth as silk. I works like it should. I appreciate how easy the cutting mechanism is to remove and rinse off after use. It doesn't drop large heavy cans.

    Seems like a good can opener.

    So far it cuts can lids really well. Holds the lids and does not release the can until you are ready to grab it. It also cuts cans with a pull top with no problem.

    A Great Electric Can Opener

    I count on Cuisinart to sell quality products for use in my kitchen and once again I am happy with a purchase I made. (The Deluxe Can Opener). It is very easy to use and its compact size doesn't take up too much room on my counter. If one prefers to store it away between use, it won't take up too much space.

    Works amazing!

    This opener is awesome. Have had different brand in the past that I only used a few times because it didn’t work well at all. This one is easy & I love that I don’t have to hold it down while opening & it stops by itself when done! Opens large cans with ease too

    This is the best can opener ever!

    This is the best can opener I have ever had! I love the sleek look and doesn’t take up a lot of space. This can opener is so much quieter than any other openers I have had over the years. I also love that I put the can up and pull the handle down and let it go, it is virtually hands free. This can opener opens can smoothly and easily and when the can is opened I just hold the can, lift up the handle and the lid is magnetically held . It makes opening cans so easy. I also love that it has a 3 year warranty. I highly recommend that you should buy it, you won’t be disappointed.
