Bad design
The edges around the nose are so big they hurt and they keep the mask from making contact with the face.Secondly the holes also keep contact away from face. It’s too stiff. Wouldn’t recommend. The gel inside is good but the structure and design bad.

Like the idea of eye holes! The holes are small and aren’t adjustable to different face types- for me the holes don’t like up and just look crazy! Beads also microwave unevenly and it’s hard to spread them around because of the holes. Recommend getting one that looks like a regular sleeping mask

New design with eye holes is terrible!
The new design with the eye holes is a absolutely terrible and useless. The old design was perfect for my dry eyes. The good reviews are for the old design. I do not recommend the new design with the eye holes!

TERRIBLE!!
Although the beads get cold or hot like they're supposed to, this product has just about the worst mechanics to stick it on your head imaginable. It's Velcro so if you have hair longer than a couple millimeters, it will rip your hair out!! There's no stretch to it so if you don't get the sides just right it won't fit your head anyway. Do not buy this! There are better options out there. Target's greed has made anything their products unusable.

why, just why
There honestly should be a business case study on how Target managed to ruin a 4-star product by changing key features that made it effective in the first place. As others have mentioned, the Velcro straps now stick to your hair - which is annoying but something I could almost overlook. The bigger issue is the added eye holes. They prevent the gel beads from actually resting on your eyelids, so if you're trying to treat something like a stye, you have to reposition the mask just to get any warmth where you need it. Also, why doesn't it stay warm for a full 15 minutes anymore? And why do I need to microwave it for almost double the time it says to feel any warmth in the first place? I bought this in a pinch because I needed something the same day, but if you have the luxury of time, save your money and look elsewhere until Target brings back the original version.

Really don’t like the new design of the product. The Velcro strap is uncomfortable and my hair gets caught in it. The mask itself doesn’t sit comfortably on my eyes either. I liked the old design a lot. Bring that back.

Words can’t convey how disappointed I am with the design change. You’ve effectively eliminated the subset of your customer base that use this mask as a warm compress for their eyes! Bring back the old design without the eye holes.

HATE the update to this mask
I'm so annoyed that they "updated" this mask. The old one went over your eye lids and I used it for my dry eye disease. I don't have a microwave and the previous gel mask worked great because I could heat it up using hot water AND WENT OVER MY EYES. Ugg. Also, a velcro strap against your hair? Seriously?

Utterly useless
They seem to have "improved" this item by adding eye holes and changing from an elastic band to velcro. The elastic to velcro is annoying and unnecessary. Because the purpose of this mask is to put over my eyelids, the eye holes make it completely useless. So that's money completely wasted. I wish I had known it had been changed before I bought it, but the picture on the app is of the old version, which one worked fine until it got a hole in it and needed to be replaced.

Velcro near hair need I say more.
I ordered online so I didn't see that the head band part was velcro. I swear a guy with super short hair had to design this. Velcro near curly hair equals chunks being cut out of my hair. An elastic band would have been smarter.
