The zippered, waterproof mattress protector is constructed from a new NexGen™ fabric. This Next Generation fabric is designed to replace the older plastic vinyl covers that often smelled of chemicals. This cover will protect your mattress from stains and spills and your family from dust mites and allergens. Zippered closure to fully encase your mattress.

Terrible.
This mattress cover feels like the topper on a crib mattress. So loud, not soft at all. You move and it sounds and feels (even with nice sheets on top) terrible. Attempting to put this on is a joke. Rips happen instantly. You need two to three people for a king size mattress.

It is what it is
I bought this for our move. If you are searching for a cheap cover for your mattress for a move and don't plan on using it afterward, then this one works fine. It DID rip. However, it still kept mattress clean and unblemished for our 2,500 mile move across the country, so it did it's job. It's cheaper than others that I found and I figured, if it's going to rip and get trashed, I may as well spend the least amount of money as possible. Also, it was thicker than many others that I was looking at, and I think that helped keep it cleaner than some.

Cheap and mostly vinyl
The protector is very thin(almost only vinyl, it might had a very think cotton layer as advertised) I don’t think it will last more than multiple washes. It’s more plastic than fabric too. The product also comes in a sealed cover so there is no way to get feel of the product without breaking the seal. Since I tore the seal now I don’t want to return the product as people might think I am returning a used product.
