Tried out an oat milk ice cream recipe and at the soft stage, the texture was great, but the full freeze turned it icy.

This icemaker is very easy to use and makes ice cream within 20 minutes. Amazing! If you like soft serve ice cream it comes out perfectly when it’s done, but if you want it to be firmer, it has to go into the freezer. After three different recipes I am finding it is a little icy after you freeze it so I’m hoping to find a recipe that keeps it creamy after frozen

We keep the mixing bowl in our freezer. A couple hours before we want ice cream, we blend a few ingredients together. As we are putting our dinner plates together, we pour the mixture into the machine, turn it on, and delicious ice cream is ready to be served!

absolutely love my Cuisinart Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker. I have been wanting to make my own ice cream for years, but never have tried. I wanted a machine that was easy and not too large. My husband bought me this one for Christmas and it is perfect. It comes with a link for recipes, so I printed it out and use it all the time. I have only made the vanilla and chocolate, but plan to experiment soon. I keep the freezer bowl in my deep freezer and get it out when I want to make ice cream. Once I start the machine and pour the mix into the bowl, the ice cream is done in about 15 minutes. It is creamy and delicious. Regarding the noise of the machine, it is noticeable, but I am still able to watch tv with the machine going. There is not anything I do not like about this ice cream machine, other than the fact that I can’t stop making ice cream and eating it. I would definitely recommend the Cuisinart ice cream and sorbet maker!
