Directions

Directions shake or knead before each use apply generously and evenly to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure reapply: after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating immediately after towel drying at least every 2 hours Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease the risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses children under 6 months: Ask a doctor

    Loved it, but it didn't work for me

After reading about the dangers of chemical sunscreens, a deep dive pointed me in Solara's direction. It's pricey, but light and the white cast pretty much disappears. My new summertime best friend!

    Clean Freak

    We ordered several of your products including Clean Freak. I don't see a a request to rate it so I'm doing it here. This product is not worth buying. it is watery or too thick to squeeze out. If that's the way it's designed it is a waste of money. If it has sat and separated, please send me another tube.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Solara sunblock does everything I wanted it to do. It has a wonderful feel on my skin. I use it on my face, chest & arms. It quickly absorbs and leaves a moisturized feel without stickiness, smearing or coming off on my collar. It works well with two of my face makeups, one glossy and one matte. I wish it came in a larger container so I would use it on my legs too, with a price less than purchasing two small bottles which I did. I very much like the delivery of the sunblock, with press button delivery. Tubes are hard for me with arthritis in my hands. I highly recommend this product.

    So sad this didn't work for my rosacea-prone skin. :(

    This is a GREAT product for most people, that's why the 3 stars- non-toxic, no niacinamide, no hyaluronic acid- none of the things that usually bother my sensitive face. I was so excited to find it! Alas, twas not to be. I still got red, and on day 2, I had a bit of a break out. I'm a pretty sensitive case, though, so most people should be just fine. We love the body superfruit sunscreen and it will always have a place in my beachbag, but the search continues for a face sunscreen. Thanks Solara, for making such great products!

    Smooth and easy application

    I love this sunscreen for my face and especially my neck! It goes on so smoothly, I don’t feel like I’m pulling on my neck when I apply it. I haven’t found a sunscreen I liked for daily use on my neck before, so this is a win! It’s lightweight and doesn’t leave any white cast or residue for me.

    No White Cast and Light Weight

    I was looking for a new good daily sunscreen and stumbled upon this one. I’m thoroughly impressed with its light weight, non-greasy feel on my face. I personally didn’t experience any irritation around my eyes and I have very dry skin but I think a patch test is still warranted. Overall this is a really solid daily facial sunscreen

    This sunscreen also has blue light defense. It is light-feeling and gentle on my sensitive skin and it does the job protecting with SPF 30 without leaving a white cast. It goes on under my Solara tinted sunscreen for an extra layer. All the Solara products have been outstanding for me. I am a stage III melanoma survivor since 2016. Solara has safe ingredients. So many sunscreens contain chemicals that are harmful and/or contain hormonal disrupting chemicals. I trust this brand and I am very happy I found it.

    Sunscreen or Lidocaine?!

    I applied on back of my hand to spot test. It felt pretty thick once on, given its lotion like consistency. After about fifteen minutes it started to have a cooling sensation. Within about 30 minutes it became a numbing sensation, like I put on lidocaine. I don’t have any known allergies to anything in this, but I do have sensitive, reactive skin. So I would proceed with caution and definitely spot test!!!

It’s too hard to regulate to try to get a smaller amount as I’m applying to different areas of my face. A smoother more variable pump action would be a nice to have. I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens that are supposedly for sensitive skin and safe, but this seems to live up to its promises. No weird skin reactions so far.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sunscreen is great! I use it every day and I really like it a lot. My only complaint is the bottle it comes in. There reaches a point where there is still a lot of product left in the bottle but it won’t come out through the pump anymore. I end up having to unscrew the top and shake it out, which gets messy sometimes and is definitely inconvenient. It’s still a great product for a great price so I still buy it but I would love it if it came in a different package.
