Description

Preserve and protect household plumbing and water-using appliances with the Culligan® HF-360A Whole House Valve-in-Head Water Filter System with P5 cartridge. Installs on the 3/4-inch main water line at the point of entry. This filter housing is designed with a convenient built-in shut-off valve to stop the water flow at cartridge change time. The clear filter housing allows easy monitoring of cartridge life. For ease of cartridge change, a housing wrench is included. The filter housing comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

Excellent Filter & Housing

Great filter & housing. To solve any leak issues and make housing removal much easier, apply light coat of Vaseline to gasket & threads, prior to first use and every filter change for easy removal and no leaks.

Leaks at gasket

Had to put a lot of teflon tape on the 3/4" threaded connections to keep them from leaking. Got everything installed and the gasket on the filter basket leaked aboiut 1 drop every few minutes. Took it off, cleaned and put silicone lube on the gasket. Reassembled and it still leaks. After 3 attempts I gave up. I thik the gasket is just to thin for the application. I will be returing it.
