Attractive Design, yet Quality Concerns
The water container's glass body cracked around the handle when I gently inserted the lid after cleaning. Regular descaling proves essential as mineral build-up forms directly above the heating element after a few days, despite our extensive water filtration system. Ultimately, we like the look and function of the kettle and have decided to replace it with the same model.

Looks nice but that’s where the pros end
Very difficult to use. Controls are insensitive to the touch and requires repeated touches. Temperature is also locked to Fahrenheit which is absurd. Why is this product sold in regions that use Celsius, which is most of the world?

Glass Breaks Easily
Bought the Zwelling Glass Electric Kettle about 8 months ago. The first one didn't work properly and had to be returned. We like the way if works and looks but the kettle gets a lot of scale on the bottom and needs to be cleaned often; at times it looks like rust. During the last cleaning the glass kettle shattered so it's no good to use now. The glass is thin, didn't hold up well. Very surprised at how easy it was to break... will probably go back to a stainless steel kettle as they Zwelling replace the kettle for us.

Flawed Design. Do Not Buy.
The screw/bolt at the bottom of the kettle will rust. How dissapointing for such an expensive electric tea kettle.

Kind of like it the way it looks In reality, you will get rust after month of use. After a year of use a handle showed its weak side. Look a the pictures.

Best EVER Kettle
I have been looking for something like this for AGES: an electric kettle that does more than boil water; that actually holds and brews tea leaves. My search is over; this is the kettle that I have been looking for. You put your loose tea inside the silver cylinder, fill the kettle with water, and voila, brewed tea in two minutes! Perfection found!

After the first use, there was rust on the plate inside the kettle. It doesn't rub off. Didn't leave water in it or anything, just must not be made very well.

Stylish Kettle
Looks stylish on a kitchen countertop and sleek touch screen. The various temperature options are very convenient, as is the built in tea steeper option. However, it does take several more minutes to boil water at max compared to my previous kettle, which was stainless steel.
