This Model Has ZERO "Crudity"
This is hands-down my favorite LEGO set I've ever owned or had the joy of building. The canon-specific details included in this gem are just simply delightful and cool. The fact that LEGO has designed this set to be modal so that it can be the icon of any of the 3 movies is fantastic. My favorite features are the push-button-activated light-up Flux Capacitor and fact that the wheels can actually flip 90 degrees to retract under the car for flight mode! The only thing I would prefer to be included is an Einstein mini-fig.

This is the best Lego set I have ever built in my life, I extremely recommend this product! It’s not the best for playing as the wheels often fall off but it’s not really meant for playing with, but it’s still a really great set as it is brilliant to build and looks great on display.

missing piece every step
On bag 4 it feels like i’m missing every piece i also didn’t get stickers. other than that that the build was pretty good but me not being able to complete the set because of missing pieces and stickers.

Brilliant Design
I have never written a review on this site before... but, as someone who has been building Lego for 45 years now, I felt compelled to for this set. The build experience was the most enjoyable I've ever had, and I was frequently in awe at the ingenuity on display by the designers: truly I've never seen anything on a Lego set more inventively realized than the hover conversion kit. Bravo! Five additional pieces would have been required to ensure that all components of each permutation could be built simultaneously. Whatever the cost would have been to include these five pieces, I suspect it would have been more than compensated for in additional goodwill towards the set by builders.

Worst quality control ever
I received this at Christmas. Within a few bags I was missing a piece. Took them a while to send it but when they did, I got to building again.... Only to find a missing piece a few bags in. Put in a request and apparently this piece isn't available!! (It's a cosmetic part of the car so will stand out if it is different). I built around the problem so I could just finish that bit later, given they've said there is a delay with sending stuff and.... bag 11... another missing piece. When you pay so much for a product, you expect it to be complete. This build has literally turned me away from wanting to buy more. Probably just as well given the one I wanted was Titanic but God knows what missing pieces that one will have!!!

Amazing!
I love this kit! Not just because it's iconic to my childhood, it was a fun build and looks amazing. I'm a novice builder, but it was easy to put together and I love the features like the gullwing doors, opening 'bonnet' and the ability to transform it into all 3 movie versions (BTTF II wheel change is a cool touch!). If it wasn't so expensive, I'd buy 3 to have each movie version side by side. Aftermarket light kit sets it off as well. Cannot recommend this kit enough.

Missing part
I guess I wasn’t the only one. Fortunately, I got lucky and was able to complete the build despite the missing pieces. It wasn’t perfect—there were still some empty spaces—but I managed to finish it. If I had known, I wouldn’t have hesitated to reach out to LEGO for the missing pieces sooner. It took quite a while to receive the replacement pieces, and overall it was a pretty unsatisfying experience. LEGO didn’t provide much detail, and it took a long time to get a response after submitting the request. I would also suggest that LEGO clearly explain how and where customers can request missing pieces for free—either in the instructions or in a place that’s easy to find—so users don’t have to search through the entire website.

Cried when I got this…
I went down stairs on Christmas morning and saw this MASSIVE present I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS!!! Impact it and I held it up into the air and cried for about 10 minutes straight! Two days later on the 27th of December 2025 I built it it took 11 hours (including breakfast, lunch and dinner breaks 😋) and when it got to the point where you have to decide what DeLorean I want it was the biggest decision of my freaking life so I chose the original movie version and all I have to say this is a brilliant set. It’s got all the details of the original DeLorean on the film. I do wish there was the mini fix from the first and third movie though the overall brilliant set (and I see why you didn’t write Matt*l on the hover board) FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Missing Pieces
This was a Christmas gift and is my first ever build. I was starting to get into it, when at step 4 there were two pieces missing. For something so expensive, you'd think they would be more dilligent. I ordered the replacement pieces, so lets see how long it takes, then I might raise my score, because it was fun up until that point.

An amazing set
So many touches of details in this set and it was a really enjoyable build. It's very sturdy and I'm looking forward to adding a light kit. It's a shame that you have to re use parts to make the 3 different models but this is the only flaw imo
