Does not absorb well
This is an ok sunscreen moisturizer. It smells fine and not like the usual sunscreen smell. But it absolutely does not absorb into the skin. 5 minutes after application small like streaks will appear all over the face and wipe off, suggesting it has not done its intended effect.

Clearly the old generic was too close to the original so they made this completely different to avoid copyright issues. Smells funky, burned my skin. I using this as an affordable for a product that helps people with sensitive skin. Don’t put fragrance in it!

Contains phototoxic compound that can cause burns when exposed to UV rays
I, like many others, am extremely disappointed in this reformulation. It contains citrus oils. Citrus oils contain a compound that is phototoxic and can cause burns when exposed to UV rays. You can see in the reviews that a few consumers complain of this very problem. I genuinely cannot imagine why a company would be a phototoxic compound into a sunscreen... I do know that I will be going back to name brand CeraVe AM Moisturizer. Risking burns is not worth saving a couple bucks. Put another way - I would gladly pay $3 extra for the name brand to not risk damaging my skin.

Trash New Formula
This moisturizer used to be half the price and 100 times better. As many others have said, the new formulation is terrible; it does not rub in all the way and pills when you try to make it dissolve and if it doesn't pill, it leaves a white cast. They also added fragrance to it with this update. What a shame because it used to be an awesome product that I recommended to everyone! Now I won't purchase again and I only use it on days I'm not going anywhere (hey, I paid good money for it, so I'm still gonna use it...just not where anyone can see me with it on).

I wish I could give 6 stars!!! One day I was complaining about how my sunscreen lotion was piling on my face and how I can't ever find one that doesn't do it. Was it my application technique? But after 2 days of using it (one day in semi humid weather and the other in cold weather... bc ohio weather is like that) and both days it worked wonderfully! This is going to be my go-to for sunscreen lotion for my face all summer long. I already have another one in my cart so I can get one for my purse for reapplication at the pool since all sunscreens do the piling.

Perfecr until I had to get a new bottle
I had a bottle with the old formula that held on for like 3 years and I really wish I had known to grab another one before the formula changed. After just one try on my cheek, I noticed it took awhile to rub in, left behind a pretty noticeable white cast, and it stings pretty badly. I had to wipe it off. Returning as soon as I can. If someone finds a good switch let us know
