[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this out as I’ve heard great things about mineral sunscreen. The texture was definitely different than the normal sunscreen I use (a spray) but it did feel like it stayed on longer. I usually do 50spf but I noticed no difference in the protection. The packaging was sleek and easy to open and apply to myself and my husband. Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely continue using it this summer!

It's quite watery as far as the texture goes, and it blends in really well. It feels more like a serum than an SPF. I didn't notice a sent with it either which is nice. I'm very happy and love wearing this.

It applies clear on skin, with dewy, brightening effect. My skin looks glowy without the white cast. Also, it is phenomenally light, so it does not feel like cakey or heavy at all. It almost feels like a light serum. Plus, it does not have the strong sunscreen smell. This can also be re-applied on top of makeup and it does not mess up the foundation underneath. It is truly the best sunscreen ever. Stock-up alert!

Usually sunscreens get my skin dry or leave white patches, but the Daygleamer Mineral Sunscreen just went on and blended right into my skin tone leaving it perfect for me to apply my make up over it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this product in exchange for my honest review, and received it the day before leaving for a cruise in the Bahamas (perfect timing). I thought it would be the perfect time to trial it. While I do think taking my fair skin from Michigan and putting it under Bahamian sun was probably more of an extreme and not so fair test, I can say, it definitely helped me from frying my face off. My nose was still pretty scorched, but for the most part it did a decent job. I had some light makeup on top of the sunscreen so additional sunscreen was sprayed on throughout the day, also not leaving a great margin to review upon. So I will give some of what I liked, and then what I didn't like. I liked the feel and texture after applying it on my face. It didn't leave me feeling oily or greasy. I enjoyed the pleasant scent. I also liked the compact size of the bottle. It offers spf of 34, which I feel is pretty good compared to similar products out there. I didn't like that once I applied makeup over it, I couldn't reapply without my makeup looking streaky, clumpy, and just gross. I also had to be patient after putting it on before applying makeup or my makeup seemed to slide right off my face and smear easily if I hadn't waited. I can say I think the serum really made a difference, as there was a day I failed to put extra sunscreen on my face for several hours and didn't turn into a lobster. All in all, I really enjoyed the product and its ease of use and will be trying it in my Michigan summer routine. I can't say its a 5 star because I feel testing it in the Bahamas was a bit too unfair, but I would definitely let friends try it out to see what they think and will continue to use it as well.
