CeraVe Anti-Dandruff Scalp Care Shampoo - 12 fl oz

Not seeing any major improvements but I’ve only been using for a week I love all other cerave products

I've suffered from Seborrheic dermatitis since I was in Jr. High. I'm not well into adulthood. I used to use coal tar shampoo but it just stunk way too bad. On a whim, I decided to try dandruff shampoo. Surprisingly, it worked! I've been using the well known dandruff shampoo and conditioner for years. They recently discontinued the line I had been using. I tried their minimalist line and it was just OK. I would like if they had a conditioner to see if it would be better. I've been a user of CeraVe for years as well. When I saw this line, I was intrigued. I love the fact that it's paraben and sulfate free. After the first wash and condition, I was sold. My hair is super soft, I have hardly any frizz, and the spots on my scalp seem to be getting smaller. I'm also not getting as itchy of a scalp as I had with the other name brand. Please do not get rid of this line. It's wonderful!

I’ve suffered with an itchy scalp and flakes to the point where it drives you insane and using this one time has calmed it down a lot, for that I’m so grateful! I hope it continues to do great. I love it so far!

Hands-down the best anti-dandruff shampoo I've ever used! It's very foamy and barely has any scent. I have lots of products from CeraVe and this is definitely one of my faves.

Didn’t do anything for my dandruff, looked like my dandruff was worse than before I washed my hair. Scam and probably fake reviews. Do not purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe’s Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner are super gentle, helped calm my itchy, flaky scalp, and didn’t dry out my hair like others I’ve tried. They’re fragrance-light, soothing, and definitely worth it if you want something effective but not harsh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample, and it lasted me for about 2 weeks' worth of hair washes. This product worked well with my hair type (thick/wavy, dry, frizzy prone). The shampoo lathered well and smelled clean. My scalp felt hydrated and clean as well; I saw less build up and dandruff in between washes. I do use a lot of other products when I want to do a curly hair regime, and that's when I see more build up. Even so it still helped reduce the amount of buildup but not completely. Furthermore, it helped a little with my frizz, especially when paired with the conditioner. I would recommend this product but just know that everyone may have a different experience. I would suggest you try it knowing that their products can be trusted to be of high quality for skin and hair.

It reduced my flakes and itchiness without drying out my hair, which is a big plus. My hair feels soft and clean, and the scent is light and fresh. It doesn’t lather much, but it still gets the job done. Definitely one of the better anti-dandruff shampoos I’ve tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This had a pretty good clean smell and nice and useful bottle but I didn’t feel it make the craziest difference. The good thing is that it definitely didn’t make it oily and was cheap!

This gave me a really bad allergic reaction on my back. I don't have a photo, but I used this shampoo one day and did notice a slight difference in my dandruff. It did help a little bit. However, I was constantly itching my back and I had hives everywhere. I've never had an allergic reaction like this before but I thought it was something else. I used this shampoo again and the itching and hives got even worse. I eventually realized it was this product causing it. I also had lots of itching on my scalp as well and it made it dry and flaky and brought all the dandruff back, which defeated the whole purpose of this shampoo. It has a very faint smell to it that resembles school glue. It's completely an opaque white and it looks like it too lol. I don't have sensitive skin so I'm surprised I developed a reaction. I ended up in the clinic due to this product. I lovr CeraVe but do not recommend this product.

I feel like the competitors out there always end up over drying my scalp, but this one truly kept my scalp and my ends moisturized. I’ve never really tried a dandruff conditioner, but I feel like I’m never gonna go back because my dandruff ended up going away and my scalp ended up moisturized.!

I love CeraVe products and was excited to try out this formulation. However, this one leaves my scalp with a burning and irritated feeling after use. I gave it a few tries on different wash days and even used it as the only product once just to make sure it wasn't some interaction with the rest of my routine. I know many people love this product, but for some reason my head cannot tolerate it.

I tried this shampoo for the first time last night, and it was a great experience for my scalp: The scent from the bottle smelled very clean, similar to a doctor's bathroom hand soap or hotel laundry, which I do not mind, and as I lathered/rinsed the shampoo out, that scent went away. The shampoo felt soft on my hands, had a lightweight feeling, lathered really well, and made my scalp feel clean and hydrated! My roots, mid-lengths, and ends felt super soft, and my hair was shiny (*Keep in mind that I double cleanse my scalp, and it takes 4 minutes*). I noticed a huge difference, considering dandruff because my scalp was cleared from it! I am curious to see how my scalp does in the next few days before I need to clean my hair again (I clean my hair when my scalp starts to get oily, which is 3 days maximum after the last shower). This morning, my hair and scalp looked great! I rate this experience a 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone who has dandruff or a very sensitive scalp, like me!
