I have used the roll on Biofreeze - it is freezing & it does a good job numbing pain for me feet/leg/ankle. I bought the stick for travel, and it was worthless - it doesn't "freeze" at all. The most I got was some smell & a tiny bit of dulling pain relief if that.

As someone with chronic pain, this is a great added support. I love the dry stick application as it leaves no mess. I’ve been using this on joint pain and feel a difference quickly. The scent is minty but not overpowering, which means it’s subtle enough I can apply in the office too.

Especially judging from the name I expected an icy cold sensation but it was barely cooling and It didnt really make a significant impact on my lower back pain. Maybe it'll work for somewith very minor aches. The scent isn't too strong but it's noticeable, I would be willing to deal with that if pain relief was the trade off.

What used to be limber is becoming a thing of the past or so I thought. I have been trying the Biofreeze Dry stick and been loving this stuff. It glides on smoothly without any residue, has a very faint menthol smell and works instantly. The travel size is so convenient and discrete. My husband has been has been using this when he’s strained his back and shoulders a few times. I definitely recommend using this product if you’re anything like I was having those unexpected symptoms.

The first time I used it, I didn't feel anything, and I was highly skeptical (but at least it smelled good). Later that night, early the next morning, I had more movement in my arm. I have used it for 4-5 days now on a frozen, pulled something in my arm, situation that I have been experiencing for the last six months. Today, I have more movement capability than I have in weeks, and each day it seems to get slightly better. Needless to say, this is the only thing I have changed in my routine this past week, and I am convinced that the biofreeze has helped tremendously. I have tried so many over the counter lotions and potions. I am seriously impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this menthol stick a few days ago when my shoulder started acting up after some heavy yard work, and I have to say it’s pretty convenient. The dry stick format means I don’t get that messy cream situation on my hands, and it glides on fairly smooth without tugging the skin. The cooling sensation kicks in within a couple minutes and lasts long enough to get through most of my day’s tasks without thinking about the soreness too much. The stick is small though—0.76 oz doesn’t go far if you’re using it on larger areas like thighs or back, so it feels like I’ll burn through it pretty fast. Also, the twist-up mechanism is a bit stiff at first, but loosens up after a couple uses. Scent is strong at the start, kind of like walking past a mint gum factory, but it fades quick enough. I’d keep one in my gym bag or glove compartment for those “oh great, not again” moments, but it’s definitely more for spot treatments than covering a whole area.
