We needed to replace old storage boxes that we bought a long time ago and found these online. Much sturdier than that brand that starts with an S. Haven’t used it yet but can already tell it’s better quality in comparison. And for the price, this is much better. Bought a bunch so we can organize closets as well as the garage.

Horrible chemical fumes do not cease leaking from the plastic, making them unsafe (they literally make humans and animals ill/vomit, and fill the air even in large spaces like our vaulted garage) and impossible to store any kind of goods in as we found the fumes contaminate them. This item is a hazard, and should not be sold!

Hi Treekeepersfamily! We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with your 38 Gal. Heavy Duty Storage Tote. Our Storage products are made of Polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well. Air or towel dry.
