Description

Flex Cup is the only beginner-friendly cup in the world that removes like a tampon.

EFFORTLESS REMOVAL. Don't fear your cup being stuck. Use the patented pull-tab to effortlessly break the cup’s suction seal for a cleaner, easier removal. Plus, since the stem is adjustable in length, you can customize your fit to help reach your cup. No digging, no stress.

12-HOUR WEAR. Live worry-free with up to 12 hours of leak protection, backed by a secure suction that keeps your cup in place. Never rush to the bathroom to change your tampon or pad again, whether you're sleeping, swimming, working, or in class.

BODY-SAFE. Made with 100% medical-grade silicone, Flex Cup is body-safe, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and free of lead, arsenic, and forever chemicals (PFAS). Unlike cotton tampons, it won't absorb your natural moisture or disrupt your vaginal pH—so you stay balanced.

FIND YOUR FIT. Flex Cup comes in two sizes to find the perfect fit for your body. Size 01 is ideal for beginners or pro cup users with light to heavy flows and has a capacity of 2 SUPER tampons. Size 02 is ideal for experienced cup users or those who've had 2+ vaginal births and has a capacity of 3 SUPER tampons. If you're unsure where to start, we recommend starting with Size 01.

SUSTAINABLE & ECO-FRIENDLY. Flex Cup is a zero-waste product, it's 100% reusable and lasts for years with proper care.

BONUS! Flex Cup includes the cutest cotton carrying pouch and 2 FREE one-time-use Flex Discs (period discs) to keep at work or school if your period makes an impromptu appearance.

Flex Cup is an alternative to tampons, period underwear, pads, and menstrual discs. Looking for a reusable product with no suction? Check out Flex Reusable Disc.

Flex is a trusted female-founded brand redefining modern period care to be safer, more comfortable, with lasting protection—because we deserve better.

Have the most comfortable period of your life®.

HOW TO USE:
STEP 1: REFRESH YOUR CUP
If it’s your first time using your Flex Cup, give it a quick wash with warm water and a mild soap or cleanser. To completely sanitize your cup in between periods, boil it for 10 minutes on the stove (do not allow your cup to come in contact with the sides or bottom of the pot).

STEP 2: FIND YOUR FOLD
Experiment with folding techniques. There are lots of different ways you can fold your cup for insertion, but one of our favorites is called the punchdown fold. Simply push one side of the cup’s rim down towards the base with your thumb, then pinch the sides together.

STEP 3: GET IN POSITION
Get into a comfortable position—either sitting on the toilet, standing with one leg elevated, or squatting with knees wide. Insert the folded cup into the vaginal canal. You don't have to push it too far back (and it’s normal for the pull-tab to hang slightly outside your body).

STEP 4: CHECK YOUR PLACEMENT
To make sure the cup has opened fully, insert a clean finger into your vagina and run it around the outside of the cup. You'll know your cup is in the right place when you can move around without leaks or discomfort.

*Please follow the full Instructions for Use within the box prior to use.

**To clean your Flex Cup, simply empty your cup, rinse with cool water, apply a mild soap or cleanser, lather, and rinse again with warm water. At the end of your cycle, sanitize by boiling (see instructions) and store it in its carrying pouch.

Q: I have a super heavy flow(Leaking through Jumbo tampons every 1 hr) on my first two days because of adenomyosis. How much exactly does 1 cup hold?

submitted by P - 9 months ago
  • A: Hi there, Thanks for your question! Size 1: Capacity of 2 super tampons (22mL) and for first-time menstrual cup users and pros with light or heavy flows. 43mm x 46mm. Size 2: Capacity of 3 super tampons (30mL) and for experienced menstrual cup users who prefer a larger size or who have had 2+ vaginal births. 46mm x 53mm. Let us know if you have any other questions. Best, Maddie

  • A: Me too , súper heavy, I clean the cup every 2 hours, tampons every 1 hour, I prefer the cup

submitted byCushions - 7 months ago

Q: Is it necessary to buy this and one other cup too still? Or can this menstrual cup be used for a long time?

submitted by K - 7 years ago
  • A: Our Flex Cup is reusable and lasts for a few of years before it needs to be replaced. Our instructions for use will have cleaning instructions on how to take proper care of your cup. The Flex Discs are disposable, not reusable. After 12 hours of wear, you must remove and dispose of the disc and insert a new one.

Q: With the cup can you pee like you can with the disc??

submitted by Nyx - 11 months ago
  • A: Hey Nyx! Yes. Menstrual cups, including Flex Cup, sit in the vaginal canal. That means your cup is out of the way when you gotta go! If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our team of Flexperts: Email us at help@flexfits.com.

Q: if i wear the cup for 24hr then take it out, do i need to boil it and clean it again before putting it right back in?

submitted by dean - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Dean, thanks for your question! You can only safely wear the Flex Cup for up to 12 hours. At the 12 hour mark you must remove, empty, and clean the Cup with warm water and soap. After rinsing, you can then reinsert the Cup. We recommend boiling the Cup every cycle to sanitize it. You can find out more info on our site here! https://flexfits.com/a/faq

Q: The pull tag sticks out is that ok? after an hour of wear the pull tag is now inside of me. i’m scared it might get “lost”..

submitted by Maribel - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Maribel, thanks for your question! Some adjustments that can be made to make the pull-tab more comfortable is adjusting the stem so it is at its shortest (or longest) length without creating an indentation on the cup wall and ensuring the pull-tab loop is just outside the base of your cup. You can also push the stem into the cup upon final placement so it is as “flush” with the base as possible while keeping the loop just outside the hole at the base of the cup. Some users also opt to tuck the pull-tab alongside their cup once inserted, that's perfectly fine!

Q: Is the pull tag suppose to be sticking out or is it suppose to be inside you with just a tiny bit sticking out??

submitted by Maribel - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Maribel, the pull-tab can rest comfortably between the labia or be tucked up alongside the Cup, either way works!

Needs Better Design

I have been using cups over 15 years & have tried a few brands. I purchased this one due to travel & forgot mine at home. Overall it is ok. Never had leaks. Biggest issue is that after 2 years the pull string loop broke. This mall function was a huge deal as it was in the middle of my cycle.

Suppringly Amazing

I've only ever used pads never tried tampons becasue I was scared and not sure how to insert. I tried this for the first time becasue I heard great things and let me tell you!!! I have a really heavy flow and lasts 3 days. I have extreme cramps and this is my first time as stated and to my surprise no cramps!!! The cramps i do get are sooooo mild compared to normal like I went from throwing up every month to feeling like I can live my best life on my period from here on out. Pros: you feel cleaner, fresher, dont have to worry about changing frequently, you can use the restroom and not have to change it every time, you can sleep with it. Cons: Honestly it can get messy it is my first time and I'm sure ill learn as I go, Inserting is a mission and its kinda hard but once in your set, at first there is pressure and I felt like I can feel it when walking the first few minutes. Overall for my first timeasure. and i definitely recommend! Its scary at first but I promise it was worth it! I went through an entire bag of pads each cycle and I literally survived off this and period undies for extra meassure.

Some features I love, others are meh!

I originally bought this because of the pull tab. I have had other menstrual cups before that take a little more finessing, but the tab makes it so much easier to take out. However, this cup is a bit thick, so it's hard to fold and place back in. It's certainly not a deal breaker, but it does make it more of a process.

Finally, a menstrual cup that works.

I'm so happy I found this cup. I've tried others in the past that were too rigid, too difficult to insert or remove, or too difficult to place correctly for them to actually work. This cup was effortless. While I imagine all menstrual cups have a learning curve, this one was remarkably easy. The black material means that staining isn't a concern. My favorite feature is the loop at the bottom for easy removal. Goodbye forever, tampons!

love it

it is pretty user friendly, i would not recommend if you have never had luck with tampons i feel it would be a pretty big jump bc of the size and the insertion of something so foreign into your body. i did experience leaks my first time using it, i thought 6 hours would be ok for a test run but on a very heavy first day, it didnt stand a chance lol it filled TWICE and leaked out both times. removal was easy but messy for those. if you have a good understanding of your period and your body definitely give it a try, it is painless and simple but a learning curve fo sho!!! 12 hours with no leaks does NOT apply to everyone!!! keep an eye out!

Leaks

Not as good as my first period cup (Eva cup). Had to grab one of these after my dog got ahold of my Eva cup that I loved. This one isn't great. I don't like the design, and I haven't figured out how to use it without leaking. To be fair, I bought the smaller size because that was all that was available in store, but I do need a larger size (have birthed 3 children). Still, I experience leaking even when the cup remains only partially full. I won't buy this design again.

Leaks and yeast

First time user of a cup. Usually use tampons. Leaked with this cup first couple heavier days. Then by day 3 not leaking but symptoms of yeast infection. Have not had yeast infection in over 10 years. Wasted my money, this cup isn’t for me

I’ve tried using this several times, but unfortunately it keeps leaking badly no matter what I do. I followed all the instructions, tried different folds, and made sure it was properly positioned, but it still didn’t work for me. It’s also very painful to remove, which makes the whole experience even more difficult. Sadly, this product just didn’t work for me.

Waste of money!!!

Stay away from the product it doesn’t work no matter what size it is if you have heavy flows it wont work maybe just on the first day of period day 1 yes but when it starts developing more blood it doesn’t hold up even by wearing it for 2 hrs it leaks through. Bad product! Waste of money and not cheap.

It leaks really bad. I don't understand why the little piece you pull goes through the middle? It's kind of hard to explain but the bottom has a hole for the piece to go through. They should've just made it without the hole and it would've been fine. Complete waste of money, I'm gonna try a different brand

Hi Andrea - Thanks for your review, and we’re really sorry your experience hasn’t been ideal. The patented pull-tab of our Flex Cup breaks the seal for clean and easy removal. It is the only cup in the world that removes like a tampon! When threaded, the stem creates a water-tight seal through the hole, so it will not leak. That said, leaking while using any menstrual cup is usually due to size/capacity, placement, and/or the cup not fully opening up once inserted. If you’re open to it, we have some helpful tips and tricks that could make a difference. Feel free to get in touch at help@flexfits.com and we’ll gladly walk you through them.

PLEASE READ

PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS IF YOUR CERVIX IS LOW!!! I’ve been exclusively using discs and cups for the past 3 years and was in the market for a new one! I tried this cup based on the reviews saying removal was easier, however since my cervix is low, the loop area stuck out uncomfortably far and was like a lip spreader and caused a ton of friction. after one cycle of testing this, i ended up with a Bartholin Cyst (which i’ve never had before) from the irritation. i’m currently miserable and will be tossing this cup and going back to my trusty flex disc.

Best Cup

I tried 2 other popular brands before this and just flat out did not like them. Uncomfortable, leaked or so difficult to remove. Flex is the winner! So comfortable and easy to use.

Not for sensitive people.

Great quality but was really painful for me. Despite the tab the seal would not fully release at times. Causing me so much pain. I didn't want to use it again despite multiple attempts. Now im still feeling pain. I think its way to hard of a material that it caused more cramping and pushed on my bladder

Works but be sure you are using correctly

I've owned two of these cups and I absolutely love the pull tab. It's a game changer for me as I've always struggled with other cups and removing them. However, learn from my mistake and don't just pull through the loop. I did have a loop that snapped and that wasn't fun. Pull the loop gently and once you can grip the thicker stem, pull the cup out.

Perfect Period Product

Lasted for FIVE years! I bought the slim fit first to try it out and once I used it a few times I never went back to tampons. I got the full fit as well for heavier days. After 5 years part of the pull tab pulled off, but honestly it's such a well made product I can't believe it lasted so long. I really like the Flex discs they provided to try too. I alternate between those and the cup. I could recommend it more!
