Rips at slider! They've changed.
I’m going to second (or third fourth fifth and sixth) the comments indicating that the bag rips right below the slider. I had also purchased some gallon freezer bags from the dollar store in a pinch and I kept thinking oh these must be the dollar store ones, but nope. These are the same bags I’ve been buying at target for a while which used to be perfectly good. Something has changed: quality.

I never leave reviews, but these bags are so bad that I feel compelled to review them. Almost every single bag ripped at the slider. They are entirely unusable and a complete waste of money. I will only buy Ziploc brand going forward.

While I prefer the Up and Up quart size freezer bags to other brands, the gallon size bags are not as durable. The zipper will often separate from the bag before they’ve been used. It’s wasteful and disappointing.

Breaks near zip closure
The plastic near the zip closure broke/was detached in several places, so even though the zip itself could be closed, the bag could not close. Similar issue with the Jumbo Slider Storage Bag.
